The main event of Backlash saw rare blood on the WWE show as Brock bled heavily after suffering a deep cut in the match against Cody Rhodes.

The former multi-time champion Brock Lesnar bled heavily during his match against The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes at Backlash. Blood is seen rarely on WWE programming these days as it is a family-friendly show. Therefore, fans get terrified seeing Brock Lesnar lose so much blood in the match.
Ever since his return to WWE in 2021, Brock Lesnar has brought a new persona with him. Many fans have liked this new character, which has helped Lesnar stay fresh and still be a main attraction at any event. He has feuded with Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley, Omos, and Cody Rhodes, among others, since coming back.
Brock Lesnar took on Cody Rhodes at Backlash in Puerto Rico. This match was everything the fans expected it to be. It included brawling straight out of the gate, violent attacks by both superstars, etc. After several vicious attacks by Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar started bleeding, which is rarely seen in WWE. However, the bleeding was so intense that the ring filled up with blood, which caused concern among fans.
Lesnar is known to be a dedicated wrestler if he decides so; hence, it comes as no surprise that he put on such a surreal performance. This can be seen in his matches against the likes of Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, CM Punk, and Finn Balor.

Fans liked the tough match. However, the finish of the match disappointed fans, as they saw it as not a decisive result. This match did save Cody Rhodes’ momentum on his way to finishing the story, but it lessened his credibility as a wrestler who can take on any challenge and overcome it.
