The tragic demise of Bray Wyatt has left a huge void in the wrestling industry. It came as a shock to fans and wrestlers around the world when the news broke a few days ago. As a result, there was a tribute show for the third-generation superstar on the most recent SmackDown episode. Furthermore, WWE updated his profile on their official website, which was praised by fans online.
“Bray Wyatt was one of the most captivating superstars in WWE history” reads the first line of the bio. Moreover, Bray’s achievements and the greatest moments of his career are mentioned. From his debut with the Wyatt Family to winning the Universal Championship, the promotion ensured that he got a well-deserved tribute on the page.
Wyatt’s alliances with stars such as Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss are noted as well. “His iconic rivalries with WWE Superstars like John Cena, The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and many more established Wyatt as one of the preeminent forces in all of WWE,” further stated the company.
On the SmackDown, the entire locker room paid homage to the former World Champion. Moreover, the main event pitted LA Knight, his last opponent, against Finn Balor, the Fiend’s first opponent. Mercedes Mone pays tribute to Bray Wyatt
Last night’s All In was a historic night for All Elite Wrestling (AEW). One of the biggest moments of the event was the appearance of Mercedes Mone. Also, the likes of FTR and Renee Paquette paid homage to Bray Wyatt, who recently passed away.
Mone wore a black armband with “Windham” written on it. Fans took note of the heartwarming gesture by the former WWE superstar. Obviously, she had previously shared a locker room with Bray during their time together.
After the show, she took to her X account to quote one of his most famous lines. “Wrestling is not a love story, it’s a Fairy Tale. Everyone is different Everyone is special!” wrote Mercedes. Similarly, a message along the same lines was sent by Renee during the All In Zero Hour show.
