Zelina Vega launched a new podcast
WWE superstar Zelina Vega has announced a new project on Instagram recently. The highlight of the project is the collaboration with fellow WWE superstar Dakota Kai. The duo has announced that they will be launching a podcast together. The debut episode is yet to come and will be available on YouTube.
They shared this big news on their Instagram profiles. The project is a gaming-based podcast and is called ZELVIX and CHARLIE GIRL. Both have been active gamers on their Twitch profiles. They have previously interacted with their fans and shown off their gaming skills on their sole projects.
WWE has had previous disputes with third-party edicts in 2020. Zelina Vega was then released due to issues concerning her Twitch streams. However, Vega returned to the company last year and has been an active superstar ever since.
On the other hand, Dakota Kai has been suffering from a torn ACL currently, and her return is apparently not until 2024. However, she has been appearing on television recently. Kai is also a consistent gamer on her Twitch streams.
It will be interesting to see these two superstars working together on one project. Furthermore, they are not the only gamers in the company. Xavier Woods, Seth Rollins, and Ronda Rousey are among WWE’s regular gamers. Fans will be anticipating their appearance on the new podcast of Kai and Vega.
Zelina Vega discusses a reunion with Malakai Black
Recently, in an interview, Zelina Vega opened up about Malakai Black’s return to WWE. The couple have worked together in the Stamford-based promotion for quite sometime. Zelina’s departure from WWE in 2020 played a big role in Black’s exit in 2021. Malakai Black was released from WWE in 2021, and he later signed with AEW.
In an interview with Gorilla Position, Zelina Vega was asked regarding her possible reunion in WWE with her husband Malakai Black. She said that any extra time she spends with her husband is precious and makes her happier. So if they get a chance to be back together and share sometime together in WWE, it can be perfect. However, Vega didn’t answer the possibility of Black’s return.
The 38-year-old has been having a successful run in AEW right now. Zelina Vega has been in constant spotlight as well after aligning herself with LWO. She has received an upper hand over Iyo Sky currently. It is going to be interesting to see if the LWO member can get another opportunity on the Women’s Championship on SmackDown.
