“Time for a new wig,” Top female star breaks silence after brutal Holiday Havoc match on SmackDown

WWE Universe saw the Friday Night SmackDown emanate from Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It also saw a first-ever Holiday Havoc Match that featured Zelina Vega, Shotzi, Mia Yim, and Bianca Belair against the notorious members of the Damage CTRL. The match was full of exciting moments however, it was the funny angle with Zelina Vega that became the topic of interest.

As can be seen in the image, Vega’s hair looked blue-colored and disheveled, all thanks to the Empress of Tomorrow. During the match, Vega celebrated her chair shot to the back of Kairi Sane, but it didn’t last long. Not only did she receive a pie shot on her head but also got poison mist from Asuka. The match also included other interesting segments. Iyo Sky’s head was inserted in a gift box and was dropkicked by Shotzi. Asuka and Kairi Sane were assaulted by the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. It was ‘Michin’ Mia Yim, who scored the victory pinfall of Iyo Sky and has gained herself a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship.

Zelina Vega gives a one-word reaction to the new faction debuted by Santos Escobar

The second match of the semi-finals of the US Title Tournament saw the cunning Emperor of Lucha Libre square with the All-Mighty, Bobby Lashley. The match was won by Santos Escobar through interference from the Los Lotharios, who seemingly aligned themselves with Escobar.

While the WWE Universe was shocked to see this development, the former Queen’s Crown winner was disgusted. She did so by calling them out using the slang, “Pende*os“, which meant being foolish.

This was the first appearance of Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza in six months after shifting to NXT. It seems the Emperor of Lucha Libre delivered by recruiting those who aligned with his vision. Ever since he assaulted Rey, he has been active in venting his frustrations against his former stablemates. It would be interesting to see whether they’d keep a trio or if there would be more additions down the line.
