WWE had a big dispute with superstars around 2020 regarding their association with streaming platforms. One of the names involved in this dispute was Zelina Vega. The company had released her but brought her back the following year. Vega recently revealed how she convinced WWE to allow streaming and to start her podcast.

Zelina Vega, in an interview with WrestlingNewsCo, talked about the story behind convincing WWE to do a podcast with Dakota Kai. The LWO member stated that she assured WWE that “there’s a way to blend the world.” Vega revealed that she convinced the management that most of the kids and audience are on these streaming platforms.

Furthermore, Zelina Vega revealed that she talked about the benefits of being available on Twitch and other platforms. She stated that a conversation could change everything. She said, “It’s cr*zy how a conversation can change a lot of things.” Vega and Dakota Kai will be starting their podcast very soon on YouTube as announced last month.

The LWO member also revealed her initial reaction to the termination. She said, “I didn’t know that this was gonna blow up as much as it did, but I feel like there’s an audience that was missing here.” The 32-year-old also promoted being digital in WWE. She stated that “everything is going digital now.”

Zelina Vega made a return to WWE in 2021 and is currently on an incredible run. She is working as a babyface superstar right now and is a part of the Latino World Order. WWE veterans and the WWE Universe praised Vega. Her association with LWO has been fruitful for her as she rose to prominence.

Dakota Kai and Zelina Vega are all set to release their new project. They announced last month regarding their new endeavor. Moreover, they will launch the podcast under the name of Zelvx and Charlie Girl. Recently, Vega shared the first look of their project on her X account.

The LWO member shared a promo video that had her fans hyped. The video confirms the involvement of Josiah Williams in the project. It shows two worlds of Vega and Kai collide. Moreover, the first look had a futuristic feel, which the WWE Universe appreciated.

Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see the response Kai and Vega will receive on their special project. The release date has yet to be announced, but it is speculated to be next month. Zelina Vega is currently with LWO. Meanwhile, Dakota Kai has been sidelined due to her injury.
