Liv Morgan is confident enough to face Rhonda Rousey next week at SummerSlam

It has not been long enough that Liv Morgan joined WWE. She has been working individually since 2021 and this is the first time she has won the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

In the 2022 Money in the Bank pay per view event, Morgan won the Money in the Bank briefcase. The briefcase provided her a fabulous opportunity to get her first ever Women’s Championship title. She was able to successfully cash-in her briefcase at the same event winning the title from Ronda Rousey.

Liv Morgan will now defend her title to Ronda Rousey at one of the WWE’s biggest pay per view event – SummerSlam. The two will face each other in a singles match in Nashville. There’s hardly a week left for the match and we can see Liv in a motivated state of mind.

Liv Morgan, in the Pat McAfee Show was confident enough to defeat Rhonda Rousey and defend her title. People and the audience have considered Liv as a weak player for the title. ” I know that people think that I’m only champion because I cashed in on a less than 100% Ronda Rousey“, said Liv.

Liv said that she knows that people consider her as an underdog in her own title defending match. People must be wondering if she will be able to face Ronda Rousey that is 100% charged. But we can see that Liv Morgan has solid confidence in her dream of retaining her title against anyone who challenges her.

Liv Morgan believes that she loves and wants her title more than Rhonda does. She further adds,” I didn’t grow up wanting to be a UFC champion. I didn’t grow up wanting to be an Olympic athlete. I grew up wanting to be a WWE Champion.” And here she is – living the dream she has always wanted to. She believes herself to be a superstar that lives and breathes and dies for the business.

It is in the history of WWE that the SummerSlam is being held in the month of August. Is this symbolic of creating history and moments as we see Liv Morgan defend her first ever title from the challenger Ronda Rousey?
