Paige to get fired by WWE? She responds on Twitter

Paige announced her retirement from in-ring competition on Monday Night Raw on April 9, 2018, the night following WrestleMania 34, citing medical concerns, but few Superstars have ever left such a lasting impression in such a short period of time.

She didn’t stay out of the ring for longer, embracing Shane McMahon’s invitation to become the General Manager of SmackDown LIVE barely 24 hours after announcing her retirement! The former champion stayed with the blue brand after leaving her commanding position and subsequently became Asuka and Kairi Sane’s manager.

The anti-Diva is actively known for sharing her thoughts and views on everything happening around the wrestling world. Recently, she also made comments on Bully Ray’s statement about Jon Moxley and said that everyone prefers Devon Dudley instead on him.

Paige is associated with WWE. And WWE and AEW are arch-rival companies. However, she was seen being involved in a conversation with AEW Women’s champion Dr. Britt Baker. On being asked by a fan about her opinion regarding Dr. Britt Baker, she had nothing but wholesome words for her.

The WWE star said, “I love Britt Baker, big fan”. In her response, Britt Baker matched the vibe and had the feeling for WWE’s star too.
She quoted, “I love Paige, Huge fan.”

Will Paige get fired for this?

A fan asked her whether she would “get fired” by WWE for tweeting something complimentary about an AEW performer after the two women acknowledged to liking each other. Here’s what the former WWE Superstar had in response:

The Twitter activist had a sarcastic reply to this question and in basic words, it meant that there’s no harm in praising other wrestlers’ talent.

Is Paige’s in-ring return around the corner?

Paige

The former WWE Divas Champion is expected to come back from her career-threatening ailment in Saturday’s 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match, as previously reported. She is now one of the favourites to win the rumble match, trailing just Ronda Rousey, Bayley, and Rhea Ripley in the betting odds. If she arrives, the arena’s roof will undoubtedly be blown off. She has hinted at a return to the ring multiple times in the previous year, and she continues to spike on social media for it.
