WWE is all set to make its move to Netflix next year. Amid the preparation for such a massive transition, the company is expected to make some major changes to its programming. Some reports now suggest that WWE is planning to add one extra hour to Raw and SmackDown following the Netflix move in 2025.

According to PWInsider, there are plans in place for Raw and SmackDown, both being 3-hour shows from January 2025. While the red brand will be back being a three-hour show on Netflix, the blue brand is set to witness three-hour programming for the first time in history on the USA Network.

In fact, in order to stack up the roster, WWE is gearing up for some main roster call-ups as well from NXT. Stars like Trick Williams, Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, and Wes Lee could be some of the notable names who might make the transition to the main roster in 2025.

Moreover, WWE has been preparing to make the Raw debut on Netflix a spectacular show. With Intuit Dome in California being the rumored arena to host the event, stars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk are expected to appear on the show on January 6, 2025.

WWE has been expanding its reach internationally over the past few years. In 2024, WWE hosted multiple PLEs in countries like France, Canada, Germany, and Scotland. However, in 2025, WWE has plans to take their flagship shows, Raw and SmackDown, into international markets.

A few days back, WWE announced that from March 14, 2025, they are going on a 12-show tour in Europe. It was also revealed that three shows of Raw and SmackDown each are set to take place in countries like Spain, Italy, Belgium, and more for the first time ever.

Additionally, Netflix plans to broadcast these episodes live simultaneously for fans in the USA. As these shows lead to WrestleMania, fans can eagerly anticipate some surprises. Therefore, there is a lot of excitement for this Europe tour next year.
