Omos has apparently no plans for Wrestlemania 38 but he has issues an open challenge for anyone ewhoo wants to step up and face him at the grandest stage of them all. However, till now there hasn’t been any Supertsar who has showed up to answer the challenge. If reports are to be believed, the Superstar who is scheduled to answer the challenge will directly show up at the show of shows. But who is he?

People in the company have recommended the idea for Gable Steveson to beat Omos, according to Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Gable Steveson is pursuing his senior year at the University of Minnesota who will commence his wrestling career in April this year. Moreover, it’s worth noting that Steveson squashing the Giant in a 20-second match isn’t the plan; it’s just a concept that’s been tossed about behind the scenes. Meltzer said:

“You don’t know how many people, including those in the company, have suggested or talked about having Steveson debut at Mania and just slam and pin Omos in 20 seconds to get his career going. But that is not the current plan.”

Wrestlemania 38 has Bobby Lashley on the card. According to a rumour by Fightful Select, WWE is planning a showdown between Bobby Lashley and Omos on the grandest stage of them all.

Former RAW Tag Team Champion Omos will compete in a singles match against someone other than Veer Mahaan or Cody Rhodes, according to the WrestleVotes Twitter feed. It should be emphasised that there has been no credible indication that Bobby Lashley has been medically cleared of his February injury. It will be ahead of schedule if Lashley is able to return to the ring at WrestleMania 38.
