In 2024, WWE signed some of the biggest names in the wrestling industry. The company poached the likes of Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Motor City Machine Guns, and Penta, who have all impressed since joining the company. Over the past few weeks, several reports have suggested that another huge star, Jordynne Grace, will soon follow suit as well. Well, it didn’t take long for WWE to confirm the rumors, as President Nick Khan himself announced the arrival of the free agent.

According to PWInsider, Khan heaped praise on the 28-year-old star during yesterday’s Town Hall meeting at WWE HQ. The executive told everyone at the meeting that they had ‘high hopes’ for Grace. The latter’s contract with TNA expired a few days back. Grace had wrestled her last match for the promotion at the Genesis pay-per-view, where she put over Tessa Blanchard on her way out.

Grace made her first appearance for WWE at last year’s Royal Rumble in the titular women’s match. Officials were immediately impressed by her physique and performance, as many speculated that the promotion would eventually sign the then-TNA Knockouts Champion.

During the ongoing TNA-WWE partnership, Grace has interacted with several names on the developmental brand, NXT. In fact, The Juggernaut even faced off against Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at Battleground.

Many are expecting Jordynne Grace to make her first appearance as a WWE Superstar at this weekend’s Royal Rumble. Nevertheless, fans cannot wait to see how she fares with the biggest female stars in the business upon her debut.

WWE reportedly ‘happy’ with another recent free agent signing

Jordynne Grace wasn’t the only wrestler who received praise at yesterday’s Town Hall. PWInsider further reported that Penta had also garnered the approval of the WWE higher-ups. The company noted that they saw “something special” in the former AEW star.

Penta debuted on the January 13 edition of Raw, defeating Chad Gable in an impressive performance. The luchador got popular quite quickly with the crowd, as his masks have supposedly been among the best-selling products.

The 39-year-old extended his momentum as he went on to defeat Pete Dunne on the following week’s episode. On the latest edition of the red brand, Penta declared for the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Additionally, he engaged in an intense staredown with Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker, teasing a future bout for the title.
