The former Universal Champion launched a brutal attack on Zayn this week on Raw, injuring his neck. Now, an update has emerged that provides clarification about the 40-year-old star’s health.
On SmackDown, Joe Tessitore revealed that Zayn sustained multiple injuries following Owens’ attack on Raw. It was revealed that The Honorary Uce is suffering from spinal compression and severe nerve damage. As a result, he will be sidelined for the foreseeable future, casting doubt over his WrestleMania status.
Recently, Owens showcased his battle scars from his match against Cody Rhodes at the Royal Rumble, describing it as an emotional war that left lasting trauma. However, The Prizefighter placed the blame on Zayn for the chaos at the event, claiming the latter had the opportunity to save him but instead chose to watch him suffer.
