WWE Raw Results – 2/11/2020 (WWE Champion Randy Orton, Handicap match)

The show kicks-off with a recap of The Fiend and Drew McIntyre targeting WWE Champion Randy Orton. Orton walks down to the ring. He says it’s been 8 days since he became a 14-time WWE Champion. He isn’t the best of the best. Orton is THE best. He is better than Edge, The Undertaker, John Cena, Shaun Michaels and Drew McIntyre. He is better than everyone in the locker room. Orton is no longer a Legend Killer. He is a legend.

The Viper dares anyone in the locker room to try and take the title from him. Alexa Bliss walks out. She says he could be here. Orton is looking around for The Fiend. Orton is hit by a Claymore Kick from Drew McIntyre. McIntyre says he wants a rematch and walks off. Miz and Morrison run down, looking to cash in the MITB contract. McIntyre runs down and knocks them out of the ring. He says no one will take the Championship from Orton but him.

John Morrison challenges McIntyre for a 2-on-1 handicap match.

Jeff Hardy def. Elias (Guitar on a Pole match)

Elias is in the ring. His album is #1 on the charts. Elias says that Hardy attacked him as his career was better than Hardy’s. As he starts playing a song, Jeff Hardy interrupts him. The guitar is on a pole, by the corner of the ring. Hardy from the start was focused on grabbing the guitar and winning. He was at his usual high-flying self. He hit a flying body attack from the steel steps. Hardy hit a Twist of Fate, and grabbed the guitar. He jumped off the top rope, smashing the guitar on Elias’ back. He got the pin.

This seems like the end of this feud, considering Hardy defeated Elias fair and square. These are two really capable wrestlers but this rivalry hasn’t worked for either of them.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler def. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke (Retain WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship)

As the match begins, Lana makes her way to the ringside. The match was short, but not exciting at all. It had multiple submission moves, and even Lana’s presence was not doing much. Baszler simply applied the Kirifuda Clutch for the win.

After the match, Jax announces that by the end of the night, Lana will no longer be a part of Team Raw. In fact, Jax will end her career tonight.

WWE United States Champion def. 24/7 Champion R-Truth

24/7 Champion R-Truth is makinghis way down to the ring. He thinks that he is facing Bobby Boucher from the 1999 movie “The Waterboy”. As the match begins, Truth simply lays down for Lashley. He says no one should get hurt in a Champion vs Champion match. But Lashley grabs him up and hits a Spear followed by a Hurt Lock for the win.

Drew Gulak runs down to cover Truth for the 24/7 Championship. Lashley hits him and knocks him out with the Hurt Lock. He then places a passed out Gulak on Truth for cover. Drew Gulak is the new 24/7 Champion.

AJ Styles segment

Styles walks down to the ring with his bodyguard, Jordan Omogbehin. He says that on Smackdown we saw Kevin Owens and Jey Uso qualifying for the Team at Survivor Series. They are talented individuals. But they lack a quality leader. This gives the advantage to Team Raw. They have AJ Styles. He claims himself to be the Captain of Team Raw.

As his first job as the captain, he calls out the other two members of the team. Sheamus and Keith Lee walk out to the ring. They do not agree Styles as their Captain.

Braun Strowman def. Sheamus and Keith Lee (Qualifies for Team Raw, Survivor Series)

Braun Strowman comes out. He says Team Raw needs him. Lee tells that Strowman need to qualify to be on the team. Strowman says he is more than qualified to not only be on the team, but also be the captain. WWE Official Adam Pearce walks out to announce that no one is ready to face Strowman. Styles suggests a triple threat match. It is made official. AJ Styles is on commentary for the match.

If Strowman wins, he qualifies for Team Raw. As the match begins, Lee and Sheamus start brawling. It was a fun triple threat match. All the 3 wrestler contributed well to the match. Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick to Lee, followed by Strowman hitting a running Powerslam to Sheamus. Strowman wins vai pinfall and qualifies for Team Raw.

AJ Styles joins the other 3 members of his Team in the ring. Styles tells all of them to shake hands. Strowman and Lee shake hands. Sheamus hugs Strowman and then hits a Brogue Kick. Lee Pounces Sheamus out of the ring. Styles kicks Lee on the head. He is frustrated with the team’s inability to get along.

Firefly Fun House

Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss are talking about Randy Orton. Abby the Witch says after what Orton did to them he should go f—himself. Bliss says she has to put 10cents in the Swear Jar. Abby tells her to f—herself. Wyatt says itll be 25 cents in Jar now. Bray Wyatt is about to speak when he starts recalling Orton burning his house down years ago. Wyatt says he never forgets. Bliss tells him to help her heal. He holds his hand over face. Her eyes change color.  Her tongue begins to stretch and falls out of her mouth.

Nia Jax def. Lana

Shayna Baszler cleared the commentary table before the match begun. Lana says she won’t let Jax treat her like this anymore. Jax completely dominated Lana in this match. She intentionally pulled up Lana’s shoulders from getting a pin twice. She finally hit a one sided Samoan drop for the win.

Lana is now off Team Raw for Survivor Series. Baszler gets in the ring and tosses out Lana. Jax hits a Samoan Drop through the commentary table. This is the seventh time that Lana has crashed through the table.

The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander) def. The New Day

The Hurt Business are in the ring for VIP Lounge segment. MVP says the Hurt Business has delivered what they promised. Now they demand payment. The demand the Raw Tag Team Championship. The New Day walks out.

MVP says they are just a bunch of clowns. While The Hurt Business roams around in suits, New Day keeps cracking jokes. They decide to fight it out in the ring. MVP is on commentary. Benjamin and Alexander are representing the Hurt Business. Alexander bling tagged and hit a Neuralyzer. Benjamin followed up with a Pay Dirt, as Alexander gets the pin on Woods.

Ricochet def. Tucker

Before the match begins, Mustafa Ali walks in and stands on the commentary table. As the match starts, Ricochet hits a Recoil for the win. Retribution comes out and completely destroys Ricochet and Tucker. Ali says that no sin is forgiven unless it is punished.

The Retribution is now attacking Ricochet. Considering Ali’s tweet that he will be turning the ship around, this was a disaster.

Drew McIntyre def. The Miz and John Morrison (2-on-1 Handicap Match)

McIntyre dominates from the start of the match. He completely wipes out Miz and Morrison. But Morrison gained momentum and staged a comeback. He hit a springboard corkscrew and a standing shooting star press. Miz too hit his patented corner clothesline. McIntyre hit a wonderful Somersault Senton on both of them outside the ring. He pulled The Miz in the ring and hit a Claymore Kick for the win.

 WWE Champion Randy Orton hits McIntyre with an RKO ot of nowhere. The Fiend’s laugh is heard throughout WWE’s Thunderdome, as the show goes off air.
