WWE Raw Results – 26/10/2020 (New WWE Champion Randy Orton, Firefly Fun House)

The show kicks off with the highlights from last night’s Hell in a Cell. Randy Orton defeated Drew McIntyre, to become 14-time WWE World Champion. Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring.

McIntyre addresses loss at Hell in a Cell

McIntyre says that he has no excuses for losing the WWE Championship. He quotes the movie “Rocky” about getting up when you’re knocked down. The new Mr. Money in the Bank holder The Miz comes out with John Morrison. Miz says that the next time McIntyre goes for the title, it would be against him. Morrison reminds that it is the same place where Miz had cashed in the contract against Orton, for the first time, successfully.

McIntyre hits a Glasgow Kiss to Miz and punches down Morrison. Miz chop blocks McIntyre’s knee that was injured last night. Miz and Morrison escape. McIntyre warns that it’s going to be a really bad night for them.

AJ Styles def. Jeff Hardy (Qualifies for Survivor Series, Team Raw)

AJ Styles walks down to the ring with the former Raw Underground guard, Jordan Omogbehin. Styles questions the reason for this qualifier. As he undoubtedly is the face of the brand, and should be the captain of Team Raw. Styles warns that if Hardy tries to do, what he did he did to Elias again, his associate would not stand it.

As the match begins, Hardy climbed the second rope and dived to the floor. Omogbehin caught him. The referee clearly saw it but did not call for disqualification. Hardy tries a Twist of Fate, but Styles pushes him off, as his face hits the post. Styles clotheslines him over the top rope back into the ring, and follows with a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

Styles is the first entrant of Team Raw for Survivor Series. As Hardy gets back up in the ring, Elias crushes him a guitar shot on the back.

Lucha House Party def. Akira Tozawa and Drew Gulak

As the match begins, WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth walks out to the ring side. Tozawa and Gram Metalik unsuccessfully try to pin Truth for the Championship. Dorado eventually covers Gulak for the tag team win. For some reason, the referee did not call-off the match despite another performer’s interruption. They all try to pin Truth, but he escapes with the Championship.

Firefly Fun House

Bray Wyatt is dressed as the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Alexa Bliss walks in with tea. The Ramblin’ Rabbit drinks it and dies, as Wyatt and Bliss laugh. Wyatt says she is here because she is mad, just like everyone at the Firefly Fun House. He holds his hand, which says HEAL, over her face. She opens her eyes, their color has changed. She says, “Let him in”.

Randy Orton will be appearing tonight at A Moment of Bliss. Wyatt says it is going to be fire, as they wave goodbye.

Keith Lee def. Elias (Qualifies for Survivor Series, Team Raw)

Elias is seated in the ring, promoting his just launched album “Universal Truth”. He says just like he overcame Hardy, he’ll overcome Lee too. As the match begins, Lee starts chopping viciously at Elias. Their action went out of the ring to the commentary table as well. Elias hits a twisted neck-breaker and climbs the top rope. Jeff Hardy’s music hits. Lee slams Elias off the top rope, followed by a Spirit Bomb for the win.

Keith Lee joins AJ Styles at Team Raw for Survivor Series. As Elias gets up, Hardy slams the guitar on his spine.   

WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley will face WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn at Survivor Series this year.

8-Man Tag Team Elimination Match – The Hurt Business (Bobby Lashley, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander) vs. Retribution (Mustafa Ali, T-Bar, Mace, and Slapjack w/ Retaliation)

Bobby Lashley starts against T-Bar. They go back and forth as MVP and Slapjack are tagged in. Retaliation gets on the apron and starts scratching herself all over. She has gone into a fit. MVP is distracted. Slapjack rolls and pins him. MVP is eliminated.

Retaliation was faking the fit. Lashley comes in and spears Slapjack. Slapjack is eliminated.

T-bar attacks Lashley, as they brawl at the ringside. Lashley clotheslines T-bar over the barricade. Both of them get counted out. Lashley and T-bar are eliminated.

Cedric Alexander and Mace start against each other. Benjamin is tagged in. They double teamed against Mace. Alexander hit a Neuralyzer, followed by a Pay Dirt from Benjamin. Mace is eliminated.

Ali is visibly scared of Benjamin. Alexander is tagged in. Ali hits him with a steel chair. The Hurt Business are declared victorious. MVP and Lashly run down to help, as Ali runs off in terror.

Drew McIntyre def. The Miz

As the bell rings, Morrison tries to distract McIntyre. Miz is attacking the knee and ribs of McIntyre that were injured at Hell in a Cell. But McIntyre pulls himself together and hits a couple of belly to belly suplexes. Morrison tries to attack him, but McIntyre big boots him. Miz tries to roll him up, but McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick for the win. Matthew McConaughey is in the virtual crowd with his sons, celebrating McIntyre’s win.

Fatal 4-Way Match – Lana def. Lacey Evans, Peyton Royce and Nikki Cross

Before the match, Adam Pearce is in the ring. He is announcing the Team Raw for the Women’s Survivor Series Elimination Match. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler will be joined by Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke in the team. The fifth member will be decided by this Fatal 4-Way match.

The match begins with Lana knocking the other three participants out of the ring. Evans runs up and clubs Cross. Royce hits a German Suplex on Evans. Lana runs in and covers Cross for the win. Lana has qualified as the final member of Team Raw at Survivor Series.

Jax hugs Lana at the ringside, and isnt lettig her go. Shayna Baszler clears the commentary table, as Jax gives a Samoan Drop to Lana through the commentary table.

Sheamus def. Matt Riddle (Qualifies for Survivor Series, Team Raw)

This was easily the best match of the night. Much of the credit for this goes to Sheamus. Lot of attacks and counter attacks involved in the match. Sheamus counters a Floating Bro with a knee block. Riddle counters an Irish Curse backbreaker with a sleeper hold. Also, he dodged a Brogue Kick and hit a German Suplex for a near fall. Sheamus eventually hit the Brogue Kick for the win.

Sheamus joins AJ Styles and Keith Lee at Team Raw for Survivor Series.

A Moment of Bliss with WWE Champion Randy Orton

Alexa Bliss introduces the 14-time WWE Champion Randy Orton. Orton refuses to sit. He is prepared for The Fiend to show up. He is aware that The Fiend wants him because Orton burned his house down years ago.

Drew McIntyre’s music hits, he walks down to the ring. Orton and McIntyre brawl. McIntyre goes for a Claymore Kick, but the lights go out. Lights come back on. Orton is on the ramp. McIntyre is in the ring. The Fiend’s graphics are all over the WWE Thunderdome. The Fiend is standing behind Orton. The Viper knows, but he isn’t turning around. He runs back to the ring and starts brawling with Drew again. He gives a back suplex to McIntyre on the commentary table and keeps punching, as the show ends.
