WWE Raw results – 15/03/2021 (2 Championship matches, Asuka returns)

The episode of WWE Raw kicked off with the announcement of Bobby Lashley’s match at Wrestlemania 37. Lashley will be defending his title against Drew McIntyre.

WWE Championship segment

The All Mighty Champion Bobby Lashley made his way to the ring with MVP. As he was about to speak, The Miz made his way down to the ring with John Morrison. The Miz congratulated Lashley, and demanded a rematch. He said that they could be WWE’s next big rivalry.

Drew McIntyre made his way to the ring. Even he congratulated Lashley on his Championship win. But he reminded everyone that he is coming to get his Championship back. McIntyre said that he isn’t worried about Miz, and turned his attention to Lashley, calling him a “bald b**ch.”

Lashley attacked McIntytre, as Miz and Morrison to joined in. As Lashley went up the ramp, Sheamus attacked him.

Drew McIntyre def. The Miz

McIntyre was recovering from the attack, but he told the referee to start the match. McIntyre quickly powered Miz into the corner and chopped the chest. Miz kicked him in the face, but that just angered McIntyre. Miz hit the ropes, and McIntyre laid him out with a Glasgow Kiss.

Miz fell out of the ring. McIntyre went outside, grabbed Miz by the seat of his pants, and drove him into the barricade. The referee checked on The Miz, while Morrison grabbed McIntyre’s boots. The referee ejected Morrison from the ringside.

Miz set up a Skull Crushing Finale, but McIntyre got out. McIntyre hit a pair of clotheslines followed by a pair of overhead belly-to-belly suplexes. McIntyre got Miz out of the ring and drove him into the barricade and ring apron a few times. He viciously slammed Miz’ face off the steps a bunch of times.

McIntyre got Miz in the ring and hit a Future Shock DDT. He followed with a Claymore Kick. McIntyre pointed to the WrestleMania sign and put Lashley’s Hurt Lock on The Miz to win via submission.

Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon’s segment

Strowman was in the ring, while McMahon made his way to the ring. He said that he has no idea that what is the problem with Strowman. The Monster amomng Men sqaid that he has been bullied by people like McMahon all his life. He knew that the apology last week was not true,because the McMahons never apologize.

Shane called Strowman stupid a couple of times. Strowman demanded a match against McMahon. McMahon agreed.

Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke def. Naomi and Lana

WWE Women’s Tag TeamChampions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler were on commentary for this match.  Rose grabbed Naomi and hit a fallaway slam. She stomped Naomi down in the corner. Brooke hit a handspring back elbow before hitting a snapmare. Brooke applied a chin lock, but Naomi soon fought out of it. Naomi flipped through a back suplex and hit a jawbreaker.

All of a sudden, Raw Women’s Champion Asuka made her way to the ringside area. Shayna Baszler got up from commentary and attacked Asuka. But Asuka took her down and punched away at her. Producers pulled them apart.

In the ring, Rose rolled Lana up for a two count. Brooke tagged in, but Lana didn’t realize. Lana hit a sit-out facebuster onto Rose. As she got up, Brooke hit a flipping neckbreaker for the win.

The New Day def. The Hurt Business (New WWE Raw Tag Team Champions)

Xavier Woods started against Cedric Alexander. Woods applied a side headlock, but Alexander twisted out and shoulder blocks him down. Alexander connected with a kick, but Kingston rolled him up with a scissor. Alexander hit a monkey flip on Kingston into a spinebuster from Benjamin.

Woods tagged in and knocked Benjamin off the apron. He kneed Alexander and elbowed him down. Kingston and Woods went for a baseball slide/suicide dive combo, but The Hurt Business cuts them off.

Kingston quickly fought back with an SOS for a near fall. Benjamin hits a top rope belly-to-belly suplex. Woods ran in and knocked Alexander out of the ring. Kingston hit Alexander with a trust fall. Woods hit a top rope elbow drop. Kingston tagged in, and they hit Day Break for their 11^th title reign.

AJ Styles’ segment

Styles walked out with Omos. He congratulated the New Day. Styles mentioned that all of them do not have a match booked for Wrestlemania. So Omos and Styles decided to challenge them for their titles at Wrestlemania 37. The New Day accepted.

Damian Priest def. Jaxson Ryker

Ryker immediately attacked Oriest.but Priest fought back with a Broken Arrow followed by the Hit the Lights for the win. Elias immediately attacked Priest.

Bad Bunny ran in and punched at Elias. Priest clapped Elias’ ears and Hit the Lights. John Morrison made his way to the ring, but Miz sneaked in and hit Bad Bunny with a guitar.

Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman (No Contest)

McMahon got out of the ring as Strowman got inside. He said he just needed to warm up. McMahon ran up the steps, did some push ups, and jumping jacks. A hopscotch rug was set up at the ringside.

Strowman angrily chased McMahon and managed to catch him. Strowman sent McMahon into the barricade, punched him, and kicked him hard in the chest. But McMahon wiped him out with a camera to the face!

McMahon hit him a few times with the camera and got him on the commentary table, He followed with a Leap of Faith elbow through the table.

McMahon went under the ring and grabbed a bucket. He poured slime on Strowman. McMahon grabbed another bucket and did it again. McMahon shouted for Strowman to never challenge him again and punches him in the face.

Asuka def. Shayna Baszler

Asuka attacked Shayna Baszler before the match began. She then hit Nia Jax with a double knee facebuster and kicked her out of the ring.

The match officially began. Asuka attacked Baszler with a hip attack and a snap suplex. She quickly took her down and went for an arm bar, but she let go to knock Jax off the apron. Baszler went for a Kirifuda Clutch, but Asuka kicked back and pinned her.

Asuka then kicked Baszler’s head into the turnbuckle. She removed the bottom turnbuckle pad and put Baszler’s mouth on the exposed turnbuckle before driving her face into it.

Riddle def. Mustafa Ali (retains WWE United States Championship)

Ali attacked Riddle at the start, but Riddle quickly came back with a gutwrench suplex. Riddle kicked Ali out of the ring. They fought on the apron before Ali hit a wild neckbreaker off the apron to the floor.

Riddle punched and kicked Ali back before hitting a Pelé Kick. He followed with a running forearm in the corner followed by an exploder, a broton, and a fisherman’s brainbuster.

T-Bar got on the apron and distracted, but Ali rolled Riddle up. But, Riddle then hit Ali with Bro Derek for the win. Ali was furious with T-Bar and RETRIBUTION.

Bobby Lashley def. Sheamus

Lashley powered Sheamus to the corner and punched him. Then Sheamus put Lashley in the corner and punched him. Lashley stared at McIntyre and went for a suplex on Sheamus, but Sheamus landed on his feet and chop blocked Lashley.

Lashley went outside and sent Sheamus into the ring post. Sheamus kicked Lashley did the 10 Beats of the Bodhrán. Lashley backed up and ran through Sheamus with a shoulder to the midsection. Drew McIntyre gave him a sarcastic thumbs up. Lashley went for another one, but Sheamus sidestepped him and sent him into the ring post hard.

Sheamus hit some vicious 10 Beats of the Bodhrán, pulled him into the ring, and hit an Irish Curse Backbreaker but he only picked up a one count. He hit  another Irish Curse Backbreaker followed by a Cloverleaf, but Lashley fought out.

Sheamus backed up for a Brogue Kick, but Lashley countered into a spear for the win. McIntyre and Lashley stared each other. The WWE Champion put Sheamus in a Hurt Lock. McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick onto Lashley as the show ended.
