Seeing John Cena lace up his boots against Logan Paul is a dream match for many members of the WWE Universe. The Cenation Leader has put on incredible matches against people with similar wrestling styles to that of the social media star. Furthermore, watching these two superstars go at it on the microphone would be a treat.
According to WrestleVotes, this match-up may not be a dream for much longer. Reportedly, there is internal speculation within WWE that these two superstars would go toe-to-toe during Cena’s retirement tour in 2025. The creative team is also fully interested in making this match happen.
Due to John Cena being a huge Hollywood superstar, there were concerns that his PR team would not want him to have interactions with a controversial figure such as Paul. However, this is not true, according to reports. The erstwhile Doctor of Thuganomics even appeared on an episode of Impaulsive. This clearly demonstrated that he has no reservations regarding the polarizing nature of the social media star.
Both Cena and Paul’s popularity breaches the boundaries of professional wrestling. Seeing these huge names, not just in professional wrestling but also in mainstream media, go head-to-head could be a huge money match for the company.
Eric Bischoff believes Kevin Nash secretly admires Logan Paul
Kevin Nash and Logan Paul were recently involved in a social media beef that went viral. The WCW legend called The Maverick an outsider and believed that he had not paid his dues like the other guys on the roster. The former United States Champion shot back with a brutal reply and claimed that he didn’t even know who the 65-year-old was. Although it may appear that these two superstars hate each other, Eric Bischoff has another theory.
Speaking on the 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff believed that Kevin Nash admired what Paul had done in WWE. He called the former United States Champion a freak of nature. He has been consistent in every match he has had, adding that there was no way that one could not be impressed with him.
I think Kevin probably admires him deep down inside. He may not want to admit it but I think he does. I mean I’m sure Kevin does like, how can you not appreciate the athleticism? No matter what you think of Logan Paul the influencer, the business person, the professional wrestler, the dude’s a legit athlete.
