Jacob Fatu has impressed people with his amazing in-ring performances throughout the world. He was scheduled to compete in his debut match at Money in the Bank against Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. However, the event was held in Toronto, Canada, which led to many complications in getting the Samoan Werewolf into the country.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE had to use high-powered immigration law firms to get Jacob Fatu cleared to enter Canada. The reason behind the complication is the criminal record of the Samoan Werewolf. In fact, it was also a major reason why WWE did not hire the 32-year-old previously.
In the end, WWE and Triple H were successful in not only bringing the Samoan Star to the country but also in giving him a match outside of the United States. Fatu made his debut on SmackDown in Chicago last month and quickly made an impact by taking out Cody Rhodes. He has been working with Solo Sikoa in The Bloodline, and many believe he is the next big thing.
This week on SmackDown, Jacob destroyed the tag team division single-handedly. In fact, he was even successful in slaying Orton to close out the show. WWE seems highly invested in the presentation of the 32-year-old, and, hence, it is going to be interesting to see how his future unfolds.
Rikishi reacted to Jacob Fatu destroying #DIY on SmackDown
Jacob Fatu was on a rampage this week on SmackDown. He unexpectedly bumped into Austin Theory and brushed past him on his way to the ring. Grayson Waller sneaked away from attack by God’s grace, only for the Samoan Werewolf to reach the ring and destroy #DIY, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.
Following the show, Rikishi couldn’t help but react to this mayhem. Taking it to Instagram, the WWE Hall of Famer posted the clip of Fatu attacking the Tag Team Champions. He expressed his distress with a reaction, showing concern for #DIY.

It was an all-out ambush by the Samoan Werewolf. He first destroyed Gargano’s skull as he smashed him directly into the corner. He then shifted his attention to Ciampa, who tried to fight back as he executed a wicked DDT on the 32-year-old. However, that was not enough, as Fatu destroyed his spine with a vicious Samoan Drop.
