“Ask the crowd what do you think” Ric Flair expresses his opinion on whether the rumoured Cody Rhodes should be a heel or a babyface

WWE should let fans’ reactions to WrestleMania 38 define whether Cody Rhodes competes as a babyface or a heel, according to Ric Flair. Cody Rhodes, 36, has 16 years of wrestling experience and many more years as an in-ring competitor ahead of him.
Ric Flair thinks that Vince should consider the crowd reaction at Wrestlemania
After ten years with WWE, Rhodes quit in 2016. On May 16, 2016, taping of WWE Superstars, he lost his farewell encounter to Zack Ryder. After his three-year stint in AEW came to an end earlier, Rhodes appears to be on his way back to WWE. The former Intercontinental Champion is expected to face Seth Rollins at the most stupendous WrestleMania of all time on April 2-3, although this has not been announced.
Ric Flair previously stated on his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast that WWE should bring Rhodes back as a heel. After that, the wrestling legend changed his mind and recommended the company’s decision to let fans influence the direction of his character. He said:
“I would listen to what the crowd said when he walked out at ‘Mania,” said Flair. “That would be my opinion. Vince, I’d say, ‘Walkout there, let them breathe for a minute, and say what you think.’ That’ll never be the case, but that’s what I would [do]. Let the crowd tell you what you think.”
Rhodes’ most recent match was on AEW Dynamite’s January 26 episode, where he lost a ladder match to Sammy Guevara. Furthermore, Rollins has lately lost high-stakes battles on RAW to Kevin Owens and AJ Styles, leaving him with no WrestleMania opponent so far. The two are rumoured to collide on Wrestlemania Sunday and the stakes are said to be high as it is anticipated that the winner will face the new Unified Champion at Wrestlemania Backlash.
