“It is a moment that I keep for myself”: Ricochet Goes on to discuss Competing Against Brock Lesnar At WWE Super ShowDown

Ricochet About Brock Lesnar

Ricochet has enthralled WWE fans with his aerial talents and title wins since his entrance in the company. When Ricochet made an appearance on The Bump, the panel aired an exclusive snippet from Ricochet’s WWE 365 episode before the interview, which was supposed to air on the WWE Network on next Sunday. The video featured came from last year, when he won the WWE United States Championship by defeating Samoa Joe at Stomping Grounds. Ricochet discusses what an honour it has been to be a part of the WWE after revisiting that momentous moment in his career.

It was in the WWE Super ShowDown 2020 for the WWE Championship, when the two glimpsed each other’s face. This may have been the turning point for the then-title contender. He may have assumed one or more moves up the WWE hierarchy in addition to his loss. Unfortunately for him and his followers, he lost in a minute and a half, causing his status to plummet many stories.

“Being in WWE validates everything. It is an achievement for me. Winning any championship can help you confirm your position on the way to the top. For me, simply being here validates my position. Fighting Brock Lesnar meant fighting for the WWE Championship at a PPV, in front of many people. Hopefully, there are still title opportunities for me in WWE. I feel like that match was an achievement.” He reviewed the confrontation.

Ricochet was absent from the WrestleMania 38 schedule, with the champion declaring that the once-prestigious championship cannot be missed at another big WWE event. He won his first WWE Intercontinental Championship on the March 4 edition of SmackDown, dethroning Sami Zayn following a distraction by Zayn’s WrestleMania 38 opponent Johnny Knoxville. Ricochet and the ‘workhorse championship’ were unfortunately not included on ‘Mania.

Following Ricochet’s declaration that he will instead defend the Intercontinental Championship on SmackDown before WrestleMania, it was pointed out that the Intercontinental Championship has not been contested on a WWE Premium Live Event for a complete calendar year. Apollo Crews won the championship in a Nigerian Drum match at WrestleMania 37, which was the title’s most recent pay-per-view appearance.
