“Charlotte cheated”: Ronda Rousey finally reacts to her Wrestlemania 38 loss

Rousey and Flair
Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair bought the house down in the co-main event of Wrestlemania Saturday. Two of the biggest Superstars on the roster collided for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Their bout heavily revolved around both the Superstars claiming that they will make their opponent tap out.
The buildup to the feud was nothing short of amazing and their battle at the Showcase of Immortals delivered way more that what was expected. The match ended with Charlotte Flair managing to retain the Smackdown Women’s title. The win made her the most successful woman in the Wrestlemania history.
On the other, The Baddest Woman on the Planet, suffered second consecutive loss at Wrestlemania. While this time she failed to capture the Smackdown Women’s title, at Wrestlemania 35 – Ronda Rousey had walked in as the Raw Women’s Champion and ended up losing the title to Becky Lynch.
But technically, Ronda Rousey didn’t lose the match. She managed to get Flair to tap out. Unfortunately, the referee was knocked down then and couldn’t see the submission. By the time he was back, Charlotte Flair pinned The Baddest Woman on the Planet to win the title. In her latest Facebook gaming live stream, Rousey opened up about the loss for the first time.
“I tapped out Charlotte and the ref didn’t see it. I was trying to wake up the ref, Charlotte tried to ambush me from behind. What a world. Charlotte cheated. I should have been ready for a cheater. There should be no amount of cheating that can beat me, that’s how good I have to be,” mentioned Rousey.
Ronda Rousey will be back on Smackdown

On numerous occasions, The Baddest Woman on the Planet has mentioned that she isn’t making a sporadic appearance and is back on WWE in a full-time role. She is scheduled to appear on the upcoming episode of Smackdown as well. But it isn’t clear whether Ronda Rousey will be continuing her feud or not.
The controversial end to the Smackdown Women’s Championship match obviously means that the feud is far from over. They could be colliding once again at the next premium event – Wrestlemania Backlash. On the other hand, Rousey could also decide to kickstart another feud before she returns to the Championship scene.
