Former WWE Superstar Ruby Riott officially moves to AEW

Ruby Riott was released by WWE a few months ago as a part of the ‘cost cut’. Riott hadn’t addressed about her future since then and now All Elite Wrestling has confirmed her move to their family. AEW All Out featured a Casino Battle Royal where she made a surprise entrance shocking everyone. She entered as Ruby Soho and won the battle royal.
Riott was a part of the most shocking releases of WWE which including top names like Braun Strowman and Aleister Black. Not only that but her release also abondoned the ongoing storylines for Liv Morgan which made her take a steep turn into a singles career.

Following her release, Riott took to Instagram saying:
“Well… here it goes, I’ve never been good at this sort of stuff but yesterday in a matter of minutes, my life changed very drastically. But after some tears, some panic and a full box of Oreos, I was able look back at how lucky I’ve been to accomplish what have. I never thought I’d make it to WWE.”
“I’ve been honored to be apart of a Squad of the most incredible women I’ve ever met, I’ve gotten to see the world and share locker rooms with some of the most talented women I know, some of which I’ve made lifelong friendships with. I’ve gotten to meet fans that were just like me, introverted kids, who never quite felt like they fit in. And between the locker room and those fans, I felt like I belonged there and I’m so grateful for that feeling.”
Ruby Riott’s WWE Career

After making a name for herself on NXT, Riott suddenly emerged SmackDown in 2017. She alongside Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan systematically take the SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte, Natalya, Becky Lynch and Naomi down. After turning on her partners, she competed in the Elimination Chamber match.
Soon after, however, Ruby reformed The Riott Squad with Morgan, and the two took many women down before Riot was released suddenly.
