WWE set to punish CM Punk after he breaks major rule on social media? Exploring the possibility
CM Punk might have just made a huge mistake with his recent social media activity; that could cost him big time.

CM Punk is undeniably one of the biggest stars in WWE right now. For over a year, he has been a cornerstone of Monday Night Raw, consistently selling out arenas with his name. As one of the most experienced wrestlers on the current roster, he is bound to make mistakes. However, his recent slip-up could potentially put him in a difficult position with WWE.
The Straight Edge Superstar recently shared an Instagram story where he was signing posters for fans. However, in the background, rehearsal footage of The Wyatt Six vs. The Final Testament was unintentionally playing on a nearby TV. WWE protects its footage fiercely, as such moments can break kayfabe and expose secrets that the company strives to keep sacred in the business.
While this is a significant mistake, the likelihood of CM Punk facing punishment is extremely low. In the era of Vince McMahon, such an incident might have led to reprimands, but under Triple H’s leadership, WWE has taken a more lenient approach to these situations. As a result, while The Best in the World may be advised to be more cautious moving forward, it’s unlikely WWE will take any major action.

Moreover, WWE has shared a few rehearsal footages recently. The company posted a clip of Triple H assisting the crew with the flashy entrance of Shinsuke Nakamura. Additionally, WWE NXT shared a video of Shawn Michaels rehearsing the NXT Deadline spot between Oba Femi and Ethan Page with the crew members ahead of the show.
Wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer believes that fans are turning on CM Punk sooner than later
CM Punk was involved in a sit-down interview on Raw this week. He talked about his thoughts on his bond with Seth Rollins and revealed some inside stories from their past. However, Tommy Dreamer analyzed the promos of both Rollins and Punk from Raw, suggesting that fans could turn on The Best in the World sooner rather than later.
Speaking on Busted Open After Dark, Dreamer noted that when Rollins addressed the situation with Punk on Raw, he delivered his point with confidence. While fans were still chanting “CM Punk,” the ECW legend observed that the chants were notably quieter than usual. He suggested that this shift in energy could indicate that fans are starting to turn on The Second City Saint.
Dreamer called this a concerning issue for WWE creative, noting that if fans turned on the former AEW star, the company could lose one of its biggest babyfaces. Interestingly, both Rollins and Punk are currently babyfaces, which could put WWE in a dilemma about having to turn one of them heel down the line during their eventual feud.
