WWE premium live events are always electrifying, especially with international crowds. Fans eagerly await the announcement of the next PLE location because it’s the fans who truly make the show. The location for the highly anticipated Money in the Bank PLE has now been decided.

Media personality Andrew Baydala reports that this year’s Money in the Bank PLE will be held in Los Angeles. WWE seems to be riding high on the success of Raw’s premiere episode on Netflix in January. Andrew shared on X that the event will take place on June 7, 2025, at the Intuit Dome.

WWE has not yet made an official announcement about the location for the Money in the Bank PLE. However, if Baydala’s information is correct, it will be the first time since 2022 that MITB takes place in the United States. London hosted the event in 2023, followed by Toronto, Canada, in 2024.

In the 2023 Money in the Bank event, Damian Priest and Iyo Sky won the briefcases. Sky cashed in her contract on Charlotte Flair after a tough Triple Threat match at SummerSlam, while Priest chose a bigger stage. The 41-year-old cashed in on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40.

What happened at last year’s Money in the Bank premium live event?

Last year’s Money in the Bank PLE was unforgettable for several reasons. With a stacked card, fans were eager to see who would win the men’s and women’s MITB ladder matches. Amid the excitement, a surprise return and a heartbreaking announcement shocked the WWE Universe. The surprise was John Cena, who revealed that 2025 would be his final year in WWE.

The PLE featured five matches, including two MITB ladder matches. McIntyre won the men’s ladder match, while Tiffany Stratton claimed the women’s briefcase. Unfortunately for The Scottish Warrior, he cashed in his contract that same day but failed to win the title due to interference from CM Punk. Meanwhile, Stratton held onto her briefcase a little longer.

In other matches, Sami Zayn retained his Intercontinental title against the fierce Bron Breakker. Priest defeated both Seth Rollins and McIntyre—after the latter cashed in his MITB contract—to retain his World Heavyweight title. In an intense six-man tag team match, Bloodline members Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu defeated Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton.

WWE Backlash 2025 to be held in St. Louis; John Cena and Randy Orton scheduled to appear

Last year’s Backlash premium live event was one of the best in history, thanks to incredible matches and the passionate French crowd. Many fans expected Backlash to go international again this year, but that wasn’t the case. A week ago, the Stamford-based company announced that the event will be held in St. Louis on May 10 at the Enterprise Center.

WWE released a video featuring hometown hero Orton, who announced that Backlash would be coming to St. Louis. The legendary Viper revealed he would be part of the event in some capacity. Additionally, WWE announced that Cena would appear at Backlash for the first time since 2009 as part of his retirement tour.

The most interesting aspect of this year’s Backlash is Cena’s role. If he defeats Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 to become a 17-time World Champion, he may defend the title at Backlash against The American Nightmare or another opponent. The Legend Killer would also be a fitting challenger since the event is in his hometown. Only time will tell what happens at WrestleMania 41.
