Seth Rollins addresses rumors of Cody Rhodes returning to WWE and having a match at WrestleMania
Seth Rollins
It has been rumored for weeks that Seth Rollins, who still doesn’t have any confirmed plans for WrestleMania 38, will face Cody Rhodes at the Grandest Stage of them All. The American Nightmare reportedly signed with WWE a few weeks ago and is set to face the former Universal Champion at the Showcase of Immortals.
While the match is still not confirmed, Seth Rollins is trying to get a spot at WrestleMania 38 which will only happen if Cody Rhodes has really signed with WWE and has confirmed to be at WrestleMania. But nobody knows about the internal discussions and statements that have been made.
Instead, the WWE Universe only knows what is happening inside the company from the rumors that come out and shake the world. This led to the WWE Universe in Chicago chanting ‘Cody’ this week on Raw when Seth Rollins came out to find a spot for himself at the Grandest Stage of them All when the Visionary said that ‘rumors are fun but are not surly happening’.
Seth Rollins lost the last chance he had to go to WrestleMania 38
AJ Styles returned to Monday Night Raw this week after recovering from his injury and started saying what would’ve happened if he couldn’t recover until WrestleMania 38. Styles the addressed Edge’s attack and then called the Rated R superstar out who didn’t come out. Instead, it was Seth Rollins who came out.
Rollins then challenged Styles to a match with the stipulation that the winner would face Edge at WrestleMania 38 which led to Styles getting heated up and accepting the challenge for the main event. This led to Styles defeating Rollins and getting his match confirmed while the Visionary still couldn’t have his WrestleMania nightmare end two weeks ahead of WrestleMania.
