This week on Raw, fans almost witnessed a major breakup between long-time friends Chad Gable and Otis. Once again, Sami Zayn intervened in the personal affairs of The Alpha Academy. After contemplating for a while, the former MITB winner snapped and laid off a vicious beatdown on the Intercontinental Champion.

Zayn called out The Alpha Academy members to free them from the chains of Chad Gable. However, it was a well-planned ambush by Gable, who went on to destroy the champion. During the segment, the leader of the faction constantly mocked his teammates. While Gable ran down Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa, Otis stood up for his teammates.

Amidst all the heat, Otis couldn’t save his friends. Gable and Zayn engaged in a brawl, which led to the latter inadvertently knocking the former Heavy Machinery member into Dupri, who fell to the floor. The Olympian took advantage of the situation, blaming Zayn and manipulating Otis into launching an attack on him.

This storyline has raised the possibility of the 32-year-old Superstar pursuing a singles run and leaving his toxic leader. Things have become quite intriguing among the faction, which needs to and will be explored in the course of the next few weeks.

Chad Gable spotted talking to two potential members for a future faction

Chad Gable had quite a showing this week on Raw. He had a rugged encounter with his stablemates and was involved in a physical confrontation with Sami Zayn. The show didn’t end there for the 38-year-old star. He was spotted talking to two stars backstage.

This occurred during Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair‘s arrival on Raw. In the background, Gable is clearly seen conversing with The Creed Brothers. It looked like the former Tag Team Champion was trying to recruit the brothers to form a new team. Moreover, it has opened up the possibility of Gable betraying Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri in the next few weeks.

WWE has added Gable vs. Zayn to the card for Clash at the Castle. Therefore, it has become highly likely that he might debut this new group at the PLE. Only time will tell how things are going to be between the factions from here on. The rumors of Creed Brothers joining sides with the 38-year-old star have been surfacing on the internet for a long time.
