WATCH: Braun Strowman breaks chair at Alexa Bliss’ wedding
Strowman and Bliss with Cabrera
Alexa Bliss is one of the most talented Superstars on the WWE roster currently. Earlier this year, she made her return to television, when she was seen on therapy segments on Raw. After seeing her in the supernatural gimmick week after week, she was finally returning to her old “Goddess” gimmick gradually.
Back in her old avatar, Bliss made her return to in-ring action at the Elimination Chamber. She came really close to becoming the No.1 Contender for the Raw Women’s Championship, before being pinned by the eventual winner Bianca Belair. Shockingly, this turned out to be her final appearance so far!
The Goddess of WWE has not been seen on WWE television since she competed inside the Elimination Chamber. There have been several reports stating that the company had no storyline for her. But now it seems like she had taken time off due to her wedding. Alexa Bliss got married to Ryan Cabrera a couple of days ago.
Bliss and Cabrera have been together for two years and finally walked down the aisle last week. Several WWE Superstars were in attendance – including Sonya Deville, Liv Morgan, The Miz, Maryse and Mandy Rose among others. A few former WWE Superstars like Braun Strowman and Nia Jax were in attendance too.
In a hilarious video, which was originally shared on Mojo Rawley’s Instagram story, Strowman can be seen attempting to sit in a small chair. As soon as he sits on the chair, it breaks with a loud crack. You can check the video out above.
Alexa Bliss might be back on WWE soon
The Goddess of WWE is now a married woman. This could’ve been a reason for her to be missing from WWE in the recent times. But now with her wedding over, the WWE Universe can expect Alexa Bliss to return to the roster.
It should be noted that while Smackdown has seen the addition of Gunther and Raquel Rodriguez, Cody Rhodes is the only addition to the Red brand. This could be an indication that if and when Bliss shows up – she will continue to be on the Red brand. The current Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair is in search of a new challenger too.
