2024 was one of the best years ever for WWE. Entering 2025, the company has some huge plans for the new year, including its $5 billion Netflix deal, new signees and debuts, and exciting PLEs. Alongside the promotion, WWE superstars such as CM Punk, Liv Morgan, and Kevin Owens have also revealed what they wish to achieve over the next twelve months in a video posted by official WWE social media accounts.
When asked about his New Year goals, Punk said that he wanted to win the Royal Rumble, beat everyone that he faced, and win all the titles. Furthermore, he also wanted to shave off Dominik Mysterio’s mustache. The Best in the World has been feuding with ‘Dirty’ Dom over the WWE Holiday tour, and it is clear he is still going after him. Meanwhile, the Latino superstar’s only New Year goal was to stop being so misunderstood and hated.
Mysterio’s love interest, Liv Morgan, had clear goals for her in 2025. She wanted to continue being the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time. She also wanted to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Raquel Rodriguez. Finally, she wanted to continue her “perfect relationship with Dirty Dom.”

The New Day said that they wanted to win gold, and LA Knight expressed his desire for all the singles titles on the main roster. Meanwhile, Karrion Kross just seemed happy to destroy as many lives as he could. Lastly, Owens said that his goal is to be recognized as the rightful WWE Champion. This was his goal not just for the new year but for the entire decade. He would continue to be the champion for as long as he could.
Nic Nemeth predicts the outcome of CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
The latest episode of Raw featured one last confrontation between CM Punk and Seth Rollins. This was the final time they went face-to-face before their match on the debut episode of the red brand on Netflix. The promo battle included various controversial topics, such as Vince McMahon and AEW. Their segment got the entire wrestling world talking, including superstars from other companies such as Nic Nemeth.
During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Nemeth emphasized the importance of their role on the latest episode of Raw. They were tasked with being the go-home piece during the final episode on the USA Network. Rollins and Punk had to build hype for Raw on Netflix without any physicality, blood, or pyro. They had to do so only with their words.
Don’t give us some weird finish or a non-finish. A definitive Seth win is the way I would go.

Lastly, Nemeth said that he did not want to see a screwy or a non-finish for this match next week. He believed that it should be a clean victory and that Seth Rollins should come out on top.
