“The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman was a member of Team Raw on Survivor Series. His team managed to defeat Team Smackdown by a clean sweep. Every member of the Blue brand was eliminated before a single member of the Red brand could be eliminated in the Elimination tag match.

WWE official Adam Pearce was predictably too impressed with the team’s performance. He decided to reward the team. Pearce asked the members to put forward their cases for earning a shot at the WWE Championship. Before the other members could speak, Braun took the violent route. He grabbed Pearce and said that he deserved the shot. Saying this, he shoved off the WWE official, who was bruised in this encounter.

After being assaulted by Strowman, Pearce announced that there will be a qualifier for the team Raw members to earn a Championship match. But he also made it clear that Strowman will not be a part of these matches. US Champion Bobby Lashley replaced him in the qualifiers.

The consequences of Strowman’s actions were not completely clear. But WWE Digital recently made an announcement regarding the same.

The tweet reveals that WWE has suspended Braun Strowman for an indefinite period. The decision was taken because he assaulted a WWE official. Strowman was clearly not too impressed with this decision. He took to Twitter to share his dissent, and even called out WWE’s backstage politics.

Adam Pearce, on the other hand, mentioned that he isn’t too happy with this decision. But he hopes that all the parties involved move forward from this.

AJ Styles, Keith Lee and Riddle won their qualifier matches on Raw. They will be facing each other in a triple-threat match. The winner of the match gets a Championship match against WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
