Odyssey Jones finally made his main roster debut on the latest episode of Raw. The 30-year-old star arrived in style, saving The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods from a beatdown from The Final Testament. After the segment, a confused Woods walked into Kingston, celebrating with Jones backstage. The 2021 King of the Ring questioned his tag team partner about their newly found friendship.

The former WWE Champion explained how he met Jones while recovering from his injury at the Performance Center. Jones revealed that Kingston asked for help against the Karrion Kross-led faction. Therefore, he debuted on Raw last night to even the odds for the eleven-time Tag Team Champions. Before Woods could duly respond, the trio was interrupted by The Alpha Academy.

Akira Tozawa hilariously broke down into his famous dance moves as the rest of the superstars cheered him on. For the past couple of months, Kross has tried his best to recruit Woods into his faction. The Final Testament leader established how, unlike his teammates, the 37-year-old has never won the WWE Championship. Moreover, he claimed that the real-life Austin Creed has wasted his potential in the name of loyalty.

One could easily argue that Kross has gotten into the mind of his rival. A few weeks ago, Kofi Kingston injured his shoulder and was sidelined from in-ring competition. During his hiatus, Xavier Woods failed in his repeated attempts to defeat the faction. Despite losing last night again, the arrival of Odyssey Jones will surely help The New Day finally put an end to their rivalry against The Final Testament.

Odyssey Jones has seemingly become an honorary member of The New Day following his debut on Raw. Reacting to the change in his group, Big E sent a message on social media. The former WWE Champion took to X to heap praise on Jones.

Big E stated that the 30-year-old star looked in great shape during his beatdown on The Final Testament. Moreover, The New Day member believes that Jones won over the support of many members of the WWE Universe with his first appearance only. 

The real-life Ettore Ewen has been absent from in-ring action since March 2022. During a tag team match on SmackDown, Big E suffered a neck injury due to a botched belly-to-belly suplex. Although he’s provided fans with numerous updates regarding his health, he is still far from being ready for in-ring action.
