The Royal Rumble 2024 event has been concluded and the fans got so many surprising moments throughout the show. There was a total of 4 matches in the Premium Live Event and every match had its ‘must-see’ moments. The Man’s and Women’s Royal Rumble had many main roster debuts and surprising returns.

While the Women’s Royal Rumble saw a few of the top TNA stars like Naomi and Jordynn Grace make their presence felt, it was great to see CM Punk wrestle again in the Men’s Royal Rumble after a decade in WWE. The WWE Universe also witnessed one of the most bizarre results of a match in the form of the Kevin Owens vs Logan Paul match.

Although the fans may not have been happy with the result, there were also some wow spots in the amazing match. From Randy Orton‘s RKO to AJ Styles‘ Phenomenal forearm, the fans cheered for every moment. Here are the Top-5 must-see moments from the WWE Royal Rumble 2024.

5. CM Punk wrestled in his first televised match after a decade

The 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble was truly special, not just because of the awesome in-ring action, but because of CM Punk’s in-ring return. WWE released the Second City Saint on this day 10 years ago, therefore his last in-ring performance was in the 2014 Royal Rumble.

The Best in the World came out at number 27 and gained a huge pop from the fans, as they wanted to see him wrestle after so long. He lasted in the ring for almost 22 minutes and eliminated top stars like Dominik Mysterio and Drew McIntyre.

The 45-year-old had set his target before the Royal Rumble, as he challenged the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. However, after coming just short, his path is still unclear on the Road to WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see what will be CM Punk’s first reaction after losing the Royal Rumble match.

4. R-Truth enters the Women’s Royal Rumble match

WWE veteran R-Truth makes another blunder, as he mistakenly enters the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. He again misunderstood the Men’s Royal Rumble with the Women’s Royal Rumble. The Irresistible Force eliminated Truth in just 15 seconds.

Valhalla made her entry at the 24th position but, during her entrance, the 51-year-old ran through the ring and went face-to-face with Nia Jax. Due to the veteran, Valhalla was also soon eliminated and was angry at Truth for ruining her chance.

Not only in Women’s matches, his confusion even continued in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. At one point he was with The Miz and at another point, he even tried to defend Dominik when The Miz tried to eliminate him. He soon got eliminated by Damian Priest, as the anger was piling up on him.

3. Andrade made his return to WWE in the Royal Rumble match

Andrade was one of the surprise returns in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at number 4. The whole arena was on their feet as he came in and attacked all the superstars to get a huge pop. The 34-year-old returned to the company after three and half years and showed what he is capable of.

Released by WWE in March 2021, Andrade made a name for himself in its rival promotion AEW. He had a great career in NXT when he was a NXT Champion and even entered the Royal Rumble 2018. Tony Khan had announced that Andrade had severed ties with the AEW. The move to WWE made more sense, as his wife Charlotte Flair is a mainstay in WWE.

Andrade survived almost 23 minutes, but he was unable to throw anyone out of the ring. Finally, he got eliminated by ‘Big’ Bronson Reed in an attempt to eliminate him. It will be interesting to see what will be his future path after the Royal Rumble PLE.

2. Jade Cargill brings the ‘aura’ to WWE

The true earth-shattering debut of the whole show has to go to former AEW superstar Jade Cargill. She came in at number 28 and delivered exactly what the fans expected from her, a much-impressive performance.

She survived only 11 minutes in the match, but she made the most out of it, as she showed the power of her raw strength. Jade picked Jax up like nothing and tossed her out of the ring with relative ease. The 31-year-old also eliminated Naomi, who survived over 1 hour and 2 minutes.

The fans wondered about her much-awaited debut, as after her on-screen debut, she was seen practicing with NXT star Roxanne Perez. It was surely worth the wait, as Jade proved herself with this performance that she could hang out with the top players of the company.

1. Cody Rhodes declares war against Roman Reigns

The most must-see moment of the night was Cody Rhodes outlasting 29 other superstars and winning the Royal Rumble twice in a row. He became just the 4th superstar to win the Royal Rumble two times in a row after legends like Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The American Nightmare entered at Number 15 and made an impact by eliminating 4 superstars and surviving for almost 44 minutes. He eliminated the top stars like CM Punk, Gunther, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Austin Theory.

Rhodes has punched his ticket to another WrestleMania main event and challenged Roman Reigns for the title. The 38-year-old will look to win his first world title in the company by defeating The Tribal Chief and finally finish the story.
