The most stupendous two night event in WWE history kicked off with the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match between the longest reigning champion, the Usos, and the team of Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs. Though the match wasn’t very long, it indicated a long-term rivalry between the two teams beginning.

The first match of the 38th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All saw the Usos retain their Smackdown Tag Team Championships after pinning the King of Strong Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura after delivering the 1D giving a tribute to of the greatest tag team of the wrestling industry, the Dudley Boyz.

But the underwhelming part of the match carried in the injury the caused the paths of the match to change. Rick Boogs tried to display his power by picking up both the Usos over his head but his knee collapsed turning the match 2 on 1 which obviously gave an instinct of the result as well.

The WWE Universe had mixed reactions to the Usos retaining the Smackdown Tag Team Championships that easily. Though they didn’t show any disappointment in the Usos retaining, they expected the match that kicked of the most stupendous two night event in WWE history to be a bit better.
