“I don’t know if it’s going to be a handicap match”; Update over Vince McMahon’s status for WrestleMania 38

Vince McMahon recently made his return to interviews after more than a decade and sat with WWE commentator Pat McAfee in his show ‘The Pat McAfee Show’. The chairman of WWE sat down to discuss with McAfee the exciting road to that most stupendous two night event in WWE history, WrestleMania 38.
After it was confirmed that McAfee will make his in-ring return on the 38th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All, McAfee recently appeared on Smackdown and was on commentary when the prodigy of Vince McMahon, Austin Theory came out and announced that he was the opponent of Pat McAfee at WrestleMania 38.
Not only that but Theory claimed that Vince McMahon set McAfee up and made an appearance on the show just to shut the commentator up. This was followed by Monday Night Raw’s young star head over to the commentary table and smack Pat McAfee in the face which led to the commentator get heated up.
Will Vince McMahon make his presence felt at WrestleMania 38?
Reports from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter claim that the chairman of WWE will likely be involving himself in the storyline between Austin Theory and Pat Mcafee. Meltzer said that McMahon may not compete in the match but may end up coming in Theory’s corner at the Grandest Stage of them All. Here’s what he said:
“Vince McMahon is still in the angle. I don’t know if it’s going to be a handicap match. I don’t know if it’s going to be Vince McMahon in the corner of Austin Theory but getting heavily involved in the angle and everything like that, but right now, Vince McMahon is the key to that match. I mean, that’s the drawing of that match, is Vince. So, he will be introduced at some point at least as things were last night.” – Sportskeeda
