Dwayne Johnson is one of the most popular stars in the world and nobody can deny the fact that the Rock is one of the greatest Hollywood stars till date. The big man has been having one of the biggest times of his life with his movies breaking records and his companies growing with a lot of profits.
Johnson lost his father in early 2020 which the star quoted as the biggest loss in his life. The megastar sat with Oprah Winfrey to talk about his relationship with his father who was a former wrestler with in-ring name Rocky Johnson. The Hollywood megastar spoke about the night his father died and said he was moved and grateful to have a new relationship with his father. Here’s what he said:
“The day he died, that night I went to bed, I felt so grateful and moved. Because I realised, ‘Oh wow, I have a new relationship with you. Clean slate. No regrets. No pain. No complications. Just me and you.'” – Standard.co.uk
Dwayne Johnson also explained what he learned from his father
Johnson also explained how he learned to be open to his daughters Simone, Jasmine, and Tiana from his father which he realized after the great one passed away. He also added that he wanted his daughters to know how unconditionally he loved them. The megastar also added that he looked upon his father as a hero and that he loved him unconditionally as well.
“My dad loved me with the small capacity with which he was capable of. With my daughters, I want to be as full and as present as I can.
