REVEALED: Why did Alexa Bliss miss Wrestlemania 38?

Bliss

Alexa Bliss is one of the most popular Superstars on the WWE roster currently. She has been with the company for nearly a decade now and is a multi-time Champion. The Goddess of WWE has won the Raw Women’s Championship thrice in her career and the Smackdown Women’s Championship. She is also a 2-time Women’s Tag Team Championship!

In 2020, she showed the entire WWE Universe that she is not only an able in-ring performer but can do really awesome character work too. Bliss associated herself with The Fiend and started playing a supernatural character too. In fact, even when Fiend went missing from WWE television, Bliss did some great work to continue the feud against Randy Orton.

After taking a break from the company, Bliss returned to the company earlier this year. She started appearing in therapy session segments before making her big return to in-ring action at Elimination Chamber. Considering it was her big return, Alexa Bliss was a favorite to secure the win, but Bianca Belair edged past her for the win.

Shockingly, The Goddess of WWE went missing once again right after Elimination Chamber. She has been missing from action since then, but fans have been speculating her return week after week. The speculations were at an all-time high during the Wrestlemania 38 weekend. But surprise, surprise Alexa Bliss didn’t show up once again.

A recent report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider mentioned that The Goddess of WWE did not show up at Wrestlemania 38, because she wasn’t even there in Dallas, Texas! Yet, WWE had created a set of Alexa’s Playground at the WWE Superstore Axxess. It clearly means that WWE still has no idea or storyline for Bliss.

Alexa Bliss could return to challenge Bianca Belair

While there is still no clarity on when The Goddess of WWE will be making her return, but we can only hope that she gets back on the roster soon. The Smackdown Women’s Championship is already set for the next few weeks – with Ronda Rousey likely to continue her feud against Charlotte Flair.

But if Alexa Bliss does make her return to WWE any time soon, she could well go after the Raw Women’s Championship. Bianca Belair won the title at Wrestlemania 38, but there has been no indication yet about whom the EST of WWE will be going after.
