“Biggest son of a b***h”: Bobby Lashley reveals why he answered Omos’ open challenge
Omos and Lashley
But things got a lot tougher for him heading into Elimination Chamber. Bobby Lashley had to defend the WWE Championship inside the Chamber, against 5 opponents! Unfortunately, he lost the title without even getting a chance to defend it. Lashley was injured even before he entered the match. Subsequently, he was written off television to recover from a legit shoulder injury.
But The All Mighty One worked really hard to get medically cleared and perform at the Grandest Stage of Them All – Wrestlemania. During Wrestlemania RAW, which is the final episode of the Red brand before the Showcase of Immortals, Bobby Lashley made his return. He answered the open challenge issued by Omos.
In fact, during the segment, Lashley became the first Superstar who was able to topple the giant off his feet. Post the show he appeared on RAW Talk, where he revealed why he chose to face Omos. “I sat and watched Omos talking about destroying and dominating everybody on the roster, which kind of piqued my curiosity. So, of course, for me to make my return, I looked for the biggest son of a b**** that I could go after,” mentioned Lashley.
