“You come back while I’m injured,” Bayley calls out Hall of Famer

Role Model of WWE

Bayley is one of the biggest Heels in WWE. For a major part of her career she had been a babyface, but her popularity among the fans catapulted to a while new level. Initially, she was just another heel on the roster, but she took her character to a whole new level when she added a comedic touch. In fact, the former Smackdown Women’s Champion was one of the biggest Superstars for the company through the Thunderdome Era.

For a major part of 2021, the “Role Model” was a part of the Smackdown Women’s Championship scene. She had a fairly long feud with the then-Champion Bianca Belair. The two Superstars were scheduled to collide at the Money in the Bank PPV. But just days before their big clash, Bayley tore her ACL and was ruled out of action for several months.

Although she hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since, the former Champion continues to be in touch with the WWE Universe through social media. In fact, she has also been issuing challenges to several Superstars. One such Superstar to receive a challenge was WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix. The “Glamazon” recently posted a photo from her gym, with two Championship belts in the background. She captioned the photo – “Perspective.”

The post caught the attention of Bayley and she was quick to give her a cheeky response. I challenged you for months. And you come back while I’m injured. Now THATS perspective!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahaha I feel so good,” she replied.

But this wasn’t all. The conversation continued when Phoenix put out a meme of sort, stating “Bayley when she tweets vs Bayley when we wrestle.” The WWE Hall of Famer was referencing to their match at Wrestlemania 35. But the “Role Model” wasn’t going to take it quietly and she responded, “That’s because of all the extra baggage I was carrying!!!!!!!!”

The Role Model of WWE hasn’t been seen in action for over six months. Initially, she was said to have been ruled out of action for nearly nine months. But rumors have been rife that the former Champion could be making her return to the company at the upcoming PPV – Royal Rumble.

So far, 21 participants have been announced for the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Interestingly most of the surprise entrants have already been revealed. With 9 participants yet to be announced, they could well be some of the biggest Superstars of the company. With Ronda Rousey also rumored to make her return during the match, Bayley’s return could be overshadowed by the “Baddest Woman on the Planet.”
