Odyssey Jones recently made his in-ring debut on Raw. He was initially paired with the New Day. Fans were enjoying this unholy union. However, just a few hours ago, WWE mysteriously removed Jones from their active roster page. This sparked a wave of speculation among the WWE Universe, including some of them even dragging Xavier Woods.
The latter spoke for himself and addressed the situation. He was accused of having tensions with Jones due to his involvement in the New Day. Woods clearly stated that he has no role in any situations with the 30-year-old star. He then posted a picture confirming that he had been at Dragon Con for the weekend. Therefore, he has no information about anything going on with the former NXT Star.
All these sudden justifications raised a lot of eyebrows towards Woods. He has been showing some shades of animosity ever since Odyssey Jones joined Kofi Kingston. Although the former WWE Champion welcomed Jones into the group with open arms, Xavier felt like they were replacing Big E by adding the former Syracuse football player.
Fans really appreciated the on-screen presence of Jones. However, he was absent from this week’s Raw. Nothing is confirmed at the moment about his status with the company. It seems pretty unlikely that WWE would release him now after putting him on the shelf for years.
Update on Odyssey Jones’ status with WWE
WWE Universe has been buzzing about Odyssey Jones ever since he was removed from the roster page. After being absent from Raw and not even being mentioned, it felt like something was off with Jones. He even had a match a few weeks ago on the show. Now, finally, a report has emerged that sheds light on the status of the star with WWE.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Odyssey has parted ways with WWE. He supported his statements by saying that he had no appearance on the show. If there was a glitch, it would have been fixed by now, said Meltzer.

Moreover, the report also suggested that it might also be possible that his angle might be done. Therefore, it was the right time to part ways. There has been no official confirmation by WWE at the moment. Only time will tell how things are going to be for Jones from here on.
