India’s star leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal tied the knot with his fiancée and dance choreographer Dhanashree Verma on Tuesday. The 30-year-old cricketer had earlier gotten engaged in August after reportedly dating for quite some time. His then-fiancée accompanied him to the UAE for the Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament where Chahal had a more than decent season and his side Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) finished fourth.

Following the IPL, Chahal was seen in action in the white-ball leg of the tour of Australia. The hosts came up trumps in the ODI series with Chahal having forgettable outings. However, in the first T20I where the leggie was not picked, he came in as a concussion substitute to come up with a Man of the Match performance for his side. India went on to win the series 2-1. Chahal is not a part of the squad for the Test matches.

‘For Infinity and Beyond’

Yuzvendra Chahal took to Twitter to share a picture from his wedding and captioned it, “22.12.20. We started at “Once Upon A Time” and found “Our Happily Ever After,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!”

As soon as the star leg-spinner posted the image, congratulatory wishes have poured in from fans around the country for the newly-wed couple.
