Zach LaVine joins Michael Jordan, Jimmy Butler in an incredible Chicago Bulls record
Zach LaVine and Michael Jordan
The Chicago Bulls disappeared for a long time since Michael Jordan’s Era. It felt like they were almost wiped out from the competition altogether. The team had a tough time rebuilding a team that could get them past the playoffs. Zach LaVine, the young guard at Chicago Bulls is having his best time in the season so far. After showing absolute impeccable performance, this season he is getting noticed for his heroics at the franchise. He has now joined the team superstars Michael Jordan and Jimmy Butler for an incredible franchise record.
Despite a 50-point game by LaVine, Bulls could not manage to get a win against Atlanta Hawks. The game ended with 120-108 after a tough performance by Hawks. Latest addition Nikola Vucevic even fell short of aiding LaVine to get the much needed W for the team. On the other hand, Trae Young had 42 points while Clint Capella registered a double-double. The Bulls just could not captivate on their lead and faced a blowout.
Zach LaVine leads the new age Bulls by inspiration
After an inspiring 50-point game, Zach became a part of history for the franchise. He is now the fifth player for the Bulls to score 50 points or more. He now shares this record alongside Michael Jordan, Jimmy Butler, Chet Walker and Jamal Crawford. LaVine achieved this feat today after raining down some of the toughest scoring moves. Despite this great performance Bulls have been struggling to mark their impact in the league. The team has fair share of rich history in a generation. After that, they were quite monotonous in the league for a very long time. But Zach has broken the silence and the franchise is one of the potential team who can go deep in the playoffs.
Zach is the future for Bulls. After being shadowed for seasons with his fighting performance, this season has yielded some good records for the Bulls guard. He has broken multiple franchise record other than making it his first All-Star appearance this season. Even LaVine was the lone scorer with who dominated in the game. Although Vucevic had 25-points, but he could not suffice the need of Bulls. The Chicago Bulls are currently 10th in the league with a 22-29 record. They just need to strive harder to earn that spot in top 8 and make it to the playoffs.
