Zendaya was spotted in a stunning neon halter neck bodycon dress during the Challengers Press Tour. However, she was on the receiving end of fans’ criticism when Canadian player Eugenie Bouchard shared a picture with the actress. 

Though many fans are eagerly waiting for April 26 to watch the movie in theaters, some of them body-shamed Zendaya for being too skinny.

Zendaya has been donning iconic dresses to pay tribute to the legends of the sport. She recently recreated the iconic look of Serena Williams and Venus Williams‘ 1998 Vogue photoshoot that again went viral.

Although Zendaya often hits back at her critics for skinny-shaming her, the recent post blew up on social media, eliciting a plethora of negative reactions online. This time, fans certainly found a chance to comment on her weight. 

A fan brutally slammed her by saying even his greyhound doesn’t show much ribcage, while some fans straight-away called her “ugly.”

Talking about the movie, the tennis-centric film is a romantic sports comedy-drama. Directed by ‘Call Me By Your Name’ famed Italian director, Luca Guadagnino, it focuses on Tashi Donaldson (Zendaya) and her relationship with her husband Art Donaldson (Mike Faist) and his best friend Patrick (Josh O’Connor).

In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, Zendaya revealed she was nervous when Serena Williams watched the premiere in Los Angeles. 

However, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, who found out the balls used in the film were not real tennis balls, praised the actress’ skills who had never played the game before. The 27-year-old actress also spoke about her Vogue interview with Williams. 

I mean it was, like, partially, I was so lucky and honored that she gave me a bit of her time for the Vogue interview with me. We just kinda ended up having our own chat because I just wanted to be able to tell her first 'I love you, and thank you for all you represent'. For so many of us who have watched her career...and what she has represented for so many young black girls.
