The fans might’ve missed out on this, but there was a major injury scare on Raw. As known, the recently convened trio of Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark was in action on the show. They took on Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance in a 6-woman tag team match. It didn’t bode well for the babyfaces at all. In fact, Chance got the worst of it.

The closing moments of that multi-woman scuffle saw Zoey Stark hitting a Z-360 on Katana Chance. It caught the latter right on money, leaving her with a broken nose. Taking account of her devastating offense on Raw, Stark took to X. She posted a photo of Katana’s broken nose, who was standing beside her partner Carter. Zoey told Chance that whatever transpired during their bout wasn’t ballet.

If Kayden and Katana want to cry, they can go back to the dance club, said Zoey, mocking the duo’s fun-loving gimmick. Further, the 30-year-old claimed that she, Deville, and Baszler are here to takeover. Katana didn’t take long to respond. In a reply to Zoey’s post, she said that neither did she do ballet nor did she shed a tear when her nose was broken.

She confirmed that the doctors have put her nose back where it belongs. At last, the 34-year-old vowed to get her pound of flesh on Trish Stratus‘ former protege. The villainous stable also ganged up on Zelina Vega in a backstage altercation. They targeted Vega’s already injured arm. After the trio emerged victorious on Raw, they were flattened by Damage CTRL, who returned after a brief hiatus. Next week, Dakota Kai will go one-on-one with Sonya Deville.

Michael Cole dropped an AEW reference on this week’s Raw

There’s a lot that went down on Raw. However, the opening segment set the tone for the rest of the show. To kick things off, Seth Rollins came dancing down that aisle. After he got the crowd going, CM Punk made his way out as well.

During his entrance, Michael Cole mentioned how Drew McIntyre brought up Punk’s past in a recent social media post. Cole was referring to a now-deleted image that Drew posted on X. He posed alongside Jack Perry, who had a tumultuous fallout with The Best in the World at AEW All In last year.

This Saturday at SummerSlam, Punk will finally get McIntyre into a match that’s been months in the making. It would be interesting to see what Rollins adds to it, as there’s bound to be shenanigans.
