The Money in the Bank qualifiers continued on this week’s Raw. In one of those two, Rhea Ripley advanced to the ladder match slated for June 7 in Los Angeles. She was supposed to wrestle Kairi Sane and Zoey Stark in a triple-threat match, which basically turned into a singles encounter with Sane after Stark suffered an injury.

The ex-Pure Fusion Collective member landed horribly on her right leg and completely buckled her knee on the spot while attempting a Missile Drop Kick on the Japanese wrestler. Even the commentators knew she was done for. The 31-year-old was screaming in agony, and a WWE medic was immediately called to the ring.

The Utah native couldn’t even walk and had to be escorted to the backstage area. The nature of Stark’s injury is yet to be revealed. However, by the looks of it, she’s expected to be out of in-ring action for a long time. Both Ripley and Sane, who were Stark’s opponents during the match, have sent their well-wishes for the injured star.

Apart from those two women, the likes of Bayley, Iyo Sky, and B-Fab have also expressed nothing but the speediest of recoveries for Trish Stratus‘ former protégé. In the other MITB qualifying match on Raw, Roxanne Perez sealed her berth by pinning Natalya. Becky Lynch couldn’t qualify after Lyra Valkyria launched an attack on ‘The Man’ during the closing moments. Lynch had mauled The Bird Lady after losing to the latter at Backlash. Valkyria finally got her lick back.

What’s on tap for next week’s Raw?

Next week’s Raw from Tampa will be the first one to air after Saturday Night’s Main Event. Speaking of what has been added to the show, Rusev will take on Akira Tozawa after targeting The Alpha Academy in his WWE return so far. The Bulgarian Brute is expected to annihilate Tozawa in some fashion. Also, The New Day will defend their world tag team titles against The Creed Brothers and The War Raiders.

In addition to that, the MITB qualifiers will continue. This week, AJ Styles and Penta succumbed to a loss against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. The ex-AEW star was once again distracted by El Grande Americano. It seems like WWE is planting the seeds for a mask vs. mask match between Penta and Americano.

It’d also be an interesting story to keep an eye on next Monday. Moreover, next week’s Raw could see the return of Liv Morgan. She has wrapped up filming Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo and has returned to the United States. The New Jersey native might be on her way back to WWE sooner than later.

Her name was heavily mentioned during Raw in the backstage segment featuring The Judgment Day. Balor introduced Roxanne Perez as a potential member of the group, which Raquel Rodriguez opposed by telling The Prince that they should inform Morgan about it first. Perez also gifted Dominik Mysterio a box of chicken tenders, which the IC Champ gleefully accepted.

Logan Paul stood tall to close out this week’s Raw

Jey Uso had an uphill task in the main event of Raw as he battled Bron Breakker in a non-title match. The match ended in a DQ when Seth Rollins blindsided the World Heavyweight Champion at ringside. Rollins and Breakker launched a 2-on-1 assault on Uso, but CM Punk and Sami Zayn soon made their way out.

Punk and Zayn vs. Rollins and Breakker is officially set for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Once they started brawling on Raw, there was absolute pandemonium across the arena. After a few moments, these four men entered the WWE Universe in Greenville but never stopped trading blows.

Back in the ring, Logan Paul, out of nowhere, knocked out Uso for the fourth time in their feud. They’ll also collide this weekend at SNME with Uso’s world title on the line. It’d be interesting to see if The Maverick pulls off an upset to capture his first world title in WWE.
