Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and tech mogul, has always been a good friend of Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump. The Billionaire has used tennis references to react to the news that Trump has become the 47th President of the United States of America.
Trump was pronounced the winner of the 2024 US general election after results showed that he beat Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. On Tuesday (November 5), the Republican candidate triumphed in key battleground states to win the race to the White House.
Trump’s victory in swing states such as North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin saw him win 277 electoral votes against 224 for Kamala Harris. At 78, he becomes the oldest person ever elected into the White House.
Musk aggressively campaigned for Trump, especially in the swing states. He later took to social media to celebrate Trump’s remarkable comeback victory after a tough defeat in 2020.

Musk has used his social media platform X, where he is the most followed account (203 million), to push Trump’s messages and policies to users. It is reported that he also donated $119 million during the election cycle to America PAC, a political action committee he created to support the Trump.

The 78-year-old’s victory caught the attention of former American player Patrick McEnroe, who took to social media to react to the news. He explained how Trump defeated Kamala Harris while also using a tennis reference.
