Second quarter
Alexander Zverev will be the heavy favorite in this quarter to reach the quarterfinals. En route to the quarterfinal, he could meet Gael Monfils or Felix Auger-Aliassime.

In the second part of this quarter, the seeded players are- Karen Khachanov, Francisco Cerundolo, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Alex de Minaur. The Aussie is expected to play Zverev in the last eight.

Third quarter
Novak Djokovic is part of the third quarter. The Serb will be playing a singles match since the Wimbledon semifinal, where Sinner beat him in straight sets.

Quarterfinal prediction: Novak Djokovic vs. Taylor Fritz
Fourth quarter
Carlos Alcaraz is handed a tough draw. In the very first match, he will face one of the best servers, Reilly Opelka. If he reaches the fourth round, he could run into 2021 US Open champion Daniil Medvedev.

Casper Ruud and Ben Shelton are expected to reach the fourth round. And if this happens, one of them will lock horns with the five-time Grand Slam champion.
Quarterfinal prediction: Ben Shelton vs. Carlos Alcaraz
Semifinals
If Sinner faces Draper, he is expected to win the match and schedule a blockbuster semifinal clash with Zverev, whom he defeated in the Australian Open final this season. Djokovic played the semifinals of the first three Majors of the season and could beat Fritz to reach the last four for the first time since 2023.

Both Alcaraz and Shelton have been enjoying good form. Although Shelton is expected to have the fans’ support the most, if they meet, it would be tough for him to go past the World No.2.
Semifinal prediction:
- Jannik Sinner vs. Alexander Zverev
- Novak Djokovic vs. Carlos Alcaraz
Final
Djokovic defeated Alcaraz the last time they met- in the quarterfinal of this year’s Australian Open. But the 24-time Grand Slam champion is looking like a shadow of his former self because of his age, and given that Alcaraz has played the finals of tournaments since the Monte Carlo Masters, he may end up avenging his Melbourne defeat.

If this happens, he could schedule his fifth match of the season against Sinner. Alcaraz has improved his head-to-head record over Sinner after the latter withdrew from the Cincinnati Masters final due to sickness.
Final prediction: Jannik Sinner vs. Carlos Alcaraz
Winner prediction: Carlos Alcaraz
