The 20-year-old is considered one of the future stars of English football. The midfielder made everyone take notice of his talent in the under 17 World Cup in 2017 in India. Manchester City required a creative source in the midfield and Pep Guardiola has immense confidence in the youngster’s capabilities.

As we have already witnessed, Foden can create problems for the opposition with his speed and quick movements. Foden can work well at both sides of the flanks given his ability to dribble past the opposition with his clever movements. Foden has shown that he can be a match-winner on his day which is a positive sign for the Cityzens. Foden has scored 2 goals in 8 games this Premier League season with 1 assist to his name. Foden also scored a crucial goal in Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Olympiakos in the Champions League game last month.

2. Mason Greenwood

Greenwood earlier played in the midfield but due to his aggressive style of play employed as a centre forward. The former England Under-18 International can break open any defensive unit with his pace and passing accuracy. The centre forward can score from both his feet which can put the opposition goalkeeper in two minds.

Still, these are early days for the youngster but playing under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer will make him sharp temperamentally as well as technically. Playing for Manchester United is every young footballer’s dream and playing for such a big club will surely be a learning process for the youngster.

3. Callum Hudson Odoi

Hudson Odoi’s role will become all the more crucial for Chelsea in the years going ahead. The 20-year-old can change his style of play as per the situation and the opposition’s strengths. The winger possesses deceptive speed and has shown tremendous control during the run of play that can trouble the opposition. Odoi played a big role when Chelsea won the Under-18 Premier League title in 2017. The former Under-19 England International has scored 2 goals in 5 Premier League games this season and 1 goal in 6 Champions League matches.

The England International is a penetrative option during set-pieces who can score goals from difficult positions. Hudson Odoi can time his runs brilliantly but still, he needs to show more solidity with his possession. Frank Lampard can play a big role in shaping the youngster’s career as the manager was one of the most technically gifted players during his playing days.

4. Curtis Jones

Though the 19-year-old hardly has any experience of playing in top-flight football the midfielder is a crucial addition for the Reds. Jones normally plays in central midfield but can double up as an attacking midfielder. Playing under Jurgen Klopp will enlighten his career but the youngster needs to show the commitment while playing in pressure situations.

Klopp had already stated that Jones is ahead of his age. Jones ability to score goals during set-pieces is a big plus for the side due to his reach and powerful headers. The 6-foot 1-inch midfielder is going to play a big role for the Reds in the future. The former England Under-19 international scored a goal in Liverpool’s win over Ajax FC in a Champions League game on 2nd December.
