This week’s SmackDown is all set to be chaotic. Following the beatdown on Roman Reigns last week, there has been a lot of buzz around tonight’s episode. From a Bloodline title defense to a trios match, a lot of stuff is advertised for the show. With Bash in Berlin just days away, WWE might plan some huge surprises for this Friday night.
The show will take place in Washington, DC. Stars like Cody Rhodes, Nia Jax, and even Bayley are featured in the promotion. With a lot of things ‘cooking’ on the show, fans expected to see some fireworks. Kevin Owens has been teasing his heel turn for a while. There are a lot of chances for it to take place tomorrow, including a possible triumphant win to cap off the show.

5. The Street Profits becomes new Tag Team Champions
The Street Profits won the opportunity to face The Bloodline on last week’s SmackDown. Unexpectedly, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have a chance to end the reign of terror of Solo Sikoa‘s faction. There is a huge possibility of them pulling out a trick to slyly take away the titles, as they have done in the past as well.
Moreover, there is a possibility of Roman Reigns interfering in this match. It is likely that he would be going after his formidable foe, Jacob Fatu. This might result in The Street Profits stealing the win and the Tag Team gold. It would also be revenge for The Tribal Chief for last week’s beatdown.

Tiffany Stratton has teased cashing in her Money in the Bank contract quite a few times in the past few weeks on SmackDown. Ever since winning the briefcase, she has been closely following the WWE Women’s Champion. Previously, it was Bayley, and now it is Nia Jax. Therefore, there is a huge chance of her showing her true colors to the Irresistible Force and taking away the women’s title.
Furthermore, Buff Barbie also refused to bow down to the Queen of the Ring last week. WWE seemingly planted some seeds of betrayal this way. Jax has trusted Stratton for now. However, with her first title defense slated for tonight’s episode, a cash-in is always on the cards.
3. Nick Aldis fines Carmelo Hayes
Carmelo Hayes has been rising on the scene on SmackDown lately. After finishing off a fantastic trilogy with Andrade, he is full of confidence on the blue brand. This was seen following his match last week against El Idolo. A bunch of officials got involved in the chaos that led to a major brawl between the two stars.
The same kind of event might take place this week in Washington as well. Hayes and Andrade are likely to go up against each other one more time in the coming weeks. Therefore, Carmelo is likely to gloat about his win, and the exchange with the former AEW star might hurt a few officials. This can be followed by Nick Aldis fining the former NXT Champion.
2. Roman Reigns returns with Jimmy Uso
Roman Reigns was heavily wrecked last week. It was the worst sight for his fans, as they had never seen their Tribal Chief in such condition in the last few years. Kevin Owens is all set to face Cody Rhodes at Bash in Berlin. He was not satisfied with this decision, as he tried to deny this offer initially. However, fans saw last week that this resentment has been growing week by week. Therefore, there is a chance of him turning and attacking The American Nightmare prior to their showdown.
A heel turn is definitely on the horizon. Just a week ahead of Bash in Berlin seems like the perfect place for this move. He might vent out all his anger that has grown over the years on Rhodes. This can turn into a brutal attack that might send the Undisputed WWE Champion packing to the hospital.
