Roman Reigns is one of the most dominant and aggressive stars in the pro-wrestling industry. Being the top guy in the industry, Reigns is admired by many young stars and has helped them elevate their careers as well. 

Professional Wrestling Career

NXT (2010-2012) 

Though Reigns couldn’t impress many with his career in NXT, the Big Dog learnt a lot which helped him get to the main roster as a major threat to many to stars. His major role in NXT came in 2012 when he came out as a heel and personified a villain. 

RAW & SMACKDOWN (2012 – Present)

In 2012, Reigns made his main roster debut as a part of the Shield. Along with his brothers, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, the trio dominated numerous top stars and etched their names in the history books. 

After the Shield broke up, Reigns came out as the Breakout star and won the 30 Men Royal Rumble match in 2015. This was followed by Reigns earning numerous opportunities to win the world championship as well. After some title reigns, the Tribal Chief announced that he had leukemia which forced him to stay out of the ring for some months. 

In 2020, fans saw a new Roman Reigns when a heel character came into him. His run as a heel became career-defining for him when he unified the WWE and the Universal Championship and led a dominant faction, the Bloodline. At WrestleMania 39 he defeated Cody Rhodes to extend his title reigns for more than 950+ days
