There’s been a bunch of fantasy booking happening these days for Oba Femi on the back of him being pegged to be the next big thing in WWE. With the 28-year-old rumored for a Brock Lesnar showdown at this year’s SummerSlam to settle their beef once and for all, Bully Ray has suggested Femi pull off double duty at the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’.

Ray pitched on the Busted Open Radio podcast for Femi to win the King of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions to then challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight title in the night two main event of SummerSlam. The former one-half of the Dudley Boyz, however, called for Lesnar to decimate Femi with 10 F-5s right after the latter earning the KOTR crown.

‘The Ruler’ would be, consequently, fuming to a degree where he would be willing to risk his world title shot against Reigns at SummerSlam in exchange for Lesnar putting his WWE career on the line. Bully Ray pitched for Lesnar vs. Femi to go at it on the first night at SummerSlam. The implications of this match will see ‘The Beast’ retire should he lose.

However, Ray said that WWE should add the condition of Femi having to concede his opportunity to compete for the world title the very next night if he lost to Lesnar. The tag team wrestling icon stressed whatever he came up with as the blueprint for WWE to turn Oba Femi into a megastar.

With the Nigerian wrestler holding that big WrestleMania win over Lesnar, it’d immensely add to his credibility if he were to send the 48-year-old packing into retirement. Ray pushed for Femi to dethrone Roman Reigns as well to become the new World Heavyweight Champion as the closing shot of this year’s SummerSlam at the US Bank Stadium.

As per a recent report, ‘The OTC’ was set to work both Seth Rollins and Oba Femi as two of his major feuds in his ongoing world title reign. Femi did call out Reigns during the WrestleMania 42 post-show.

Later on, ‘The Tribal Chief’ acknowledged Femi slaying ‘The Beast’ but said he’d done it many times. Reigns said he’ll keep an eye on Oba Femi throughout the summer to determine whether he will be worthy enough to step up to him or not.

Oba Femi set for all-important KOTR semifinal match on Raw next Monday

Next week on Raw in Baltimore, Oba Femi will take on the self-proclaimed “20-year-veteran in the business” Dominik Mysterio in the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament. They had an amusing segment on last week’s Raw in which JD McDonagh smacked a steel chair across Femi’s back. It had zero effect, and Femi reacted as if someone threw a paper ball at him.

‘The Ruler’ turned around and sucker punched the steel chair into McDonagh’s face. ‘The Bringer of War’ tried pulling the Irishman back into the ring, but Mysterio landed a 619 on Femi from behind. The reigning AAA Mega Champion was caught by Femi while coming down from the top rope and got toss-slammed.

The former NXT Champion was about to go for Fall from Grace, but McDonagh dragged ‘Dom’ out of harm’s way just in time. Oba Femi picked up the microphone and declared that Rey Mysterio might be his father, but he’ll introduce ‘Dirty Dom’ to his daddy next week on Raw.

With Femi talking some more trash about Brock Lesnar before getting interrupted by Mysterio, the speculation has picked up regarding ‘The Beast’ pulling up to next week’s Raw to cost Femi the match against Mysterio. The fans are under the impression that Lesnar would obliterate Femi to a point where he’d be counted out, handing ‘Dom’ the cheap win.
