Indian Premier League (IPL) is without a doubt the most popular league in the world. Ever since its inception in 2008, the league has witnessed quite a few memorable innings. While IPL 2008 kicked off with Brendon McCullum’s blistering 158*, IPL 2016 saw Virat Kohli tearing apart bowling attacks. Fast forward to IPL 2023, youngsters like Shubman Gill and Yashaswi Jaiswal have impressed everyone with their neat and clean strokes.

While there are rising stars who might dominate the tournament in the future course, there are a few names who have already left a mark with the bat in hand. The likes of Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rohit Sharma are counted among IPL legends. David Warner too has been the most consistent overseas player when it comes to scoring the most number of runs in IPL history.
