Shawn Michaels is currently in charge of running NXT. However, due to some personal grudges that Grayson Waller holds against Heartbreak Kid, this will be his first appearance in the NXT ring.

Shawn Michaels is all set to return in NXT: Roadblock, where he will be face-to-face with one of the best superstars in NXT right now, Grayson Waller. The 32-year-old faced Bron Breakker in a steel cage match at NXT: Vengeance Day. However, he came out on the losing side in this match. After the match was over, Waller went backstage and decided to confront HBK.

Grayson Waller eventually broke the kayfabe when he asked HBK, why he did not see Waller as his guy. Since then, Shawn Michaels and Grayson Waller have been confronting each other on NXT. HBK finally has no choice left but to address this situation in front of the NXT Universe at NXT Roadblock, where he will be appearing as the latest guest on the talk show, The Grayson Waller Effect.

The Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels, and Grayson Waller have confronted each other multiple times backstage. However, this will be the first time these two face each other in the ring and address each other formally.

“Every day I focus on the development of the young men and women of NXT. I had my time in the spotlight. Now that attention should be directed on these incredible Superstars. However, knowing Grayson’s behavior will only get worse, and against my better judgment, I accept the invitation to be on the Grayson Waller Effect next week at Roadblock and promise to be as professional as I can be.” HBK said.

What is the purpose of Shawn Michaels and Grayson Waller’s feud?

Many fans believe that this feud will lead to a match between HBK and Waller at Stand and Deliver. However, the possibility of Shawn Michaels vs. Grayson Waller is very slim. The real purpose of Shawn Michaels initiating this feud with Grayson Waller is possibly the NXT debut of Dragon Lee.

Dragon Lee is a Mexican Luchador who has been highly successful in the independent scene of wrestling. Many sources have even already claimed that WWE has already signed a contract with Dragon Lee. It may also be possible that Dragon Lee makes his WWE debut at NXT Roadblock.

This will help HBK get out of the feud smoothly. It will also help Dragon Lee build his first feud very well. Although WWE may also go with the option of bringing Dragon Lee directly to Stand and Deliver, the possibilities of Dragon Lee’s NXT Roadblock debut are still very high.
