Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry surely does not want to be reminded about the 2016 Finals, in particular Kyrie Irving. Warriors have been one of the most dominant teams in the recent decade, making 5 consecutive Finals appearances, the Dubs have nothing left to prove. Their marquee player and 3-point king Stephen Curry in the upcoming season, his presence is surely going to be vital in this season if the Dubs are supposed to bounce back.

Talking about the 2016 Finals, Stephen Curry led Warriors were 3-1 up in the NBA Finals. When the Cleveland Cavaliers seemed to be down and out, Lebron James and Kyrie Irving stepped on the grandest stage to make a historical comeback.

NBA analyst Drew Shiller conducted an interview with Steph Curry ahead of his opening day game against the Brooklyn Nets. When asked about whether he thinks about Kyrie Irving and Game 7 of the NBA Finals, Curry gave a hilarious response. He said, “Why you bringing up old stuff man? I had a great attitude coming into this thing, and now you trying to bring up old stuff. I don’t think about that at all really. Thinking about it… but coming into a new season, what is done is done.”

This time around, Steph will not have his close friend Klay Thompson alongside him. Thompson, who was out all of last season with an injury, suffered a second consecutive season-ending injury during his recovery. In an effort to make up for his absence, the Warriors traded for Kelly Oubre Jr, and they drafted James Wiseman with the number two pick in the draft. But let’s see how far does the Golden State Warriors go in the 2020-21 season.
